I smiled from the beginning to the end. Simply loved everything in the episode, both action and heartwarming scenes. Oh and especially Freeza, his fighting, resurrection and final speech with his force were handled perfectly (although I'd wanted to see his 1st form).

I feel like saying this episode had bad writing is just used as an excuse to say anything negative from the episode lol.

The episode was very good in every aspect, the best part being few wtf moments like Jiren blasting the audience, Goku losing UI and 17 being alive.

They were both horrible looking and I'm glad they got rid of them for good.

Okay the writing was bad but I got what I desired; Vegeta took out Toppo without sacrificing himself. I liked Toppo before his GoD power up, but not so much after.

Stunningly incredible episode. Loved every second of it. Characters were so on point and animation was very, very nice.

Mafuba on Vegeta was clever twist too. I'm glad he isn't out yet though.

I hope it isn't Xenoverse sequel. Never got into the game too deeply and the whole avatar thing just didn't work for me.

Well, for example this scene might lack on animation side, but it still looks good in my eyes. There is more in there, making characters move than just the core of animation.

I don't really care whether scene is "animated" or not if it just looks good on screen. I have now watched 39 three times and it has nothing to be pointed out IMO. It was nearly flawless episode in every way.

If alcohol is your thing, good. I personally watch super mostly as my inner kid and I want the experience to be as childish as possible.

I'm honestly pretty neutral about first two sagas. But definitely watch the movies. And if you decide to watch movie retellings, do not skip episodes.

Sumitomo's work for Super hasn't been terribly good in my opinion, which is a shame because I thought I was going to really like him after Battle of Gods. We've gotten some interesting tracks in recent episodes, which is nice.
