Re: Akihito Tokunaga Plagarized (Stole?)

In what way is that plagiarism? It's literally production music. TV shows do that, even animation. The Dragon Ball franchise has done this a few times before anyway. There is little to no probability the music hasn't been officially licensed for use on the show.

Re: Dragon Ball Z still airs on Japanese TV, doesn't it?

Since the TV stations had D2 videotape of all of GT in the '90s, instead of getting film like they did for Z, they have the original master audio of GT in stereo from those tapes, so when Toei sent them the proto-DBox masters, Fuji (and/or Animax) seem to have synced up the D2 tape audio to the pro...

Re: Dragon Ball Z still airs on Japanese TV, doesn't it?

Original Dragon Ball is the DBox master. Dragon Ball GT is the DBox master with broadcast audio slapped on. Actually, they're the raw material for the Dragon Box. The broadcasts contain all the dirt, grain and glue marks. They're pretty awesome as they don't have the noise reduction like the actual...

Toei is aware of how much money they make off overseas sales of their products, as seen here for the fiscal years 2013-2017. https://i.imgur.com/6PZdeAL.jpg ( Source: http://corp.toei-anim.co.jp/en/ir/materials/count.php ) -----------------------------------------------------------------------------...

Re: Wait... Was the soundtrack for Universal Survival already released?

This is from the recently released "Limit Break x Survivor" CD single.

It includes the full sized and it's corresponding karaoke track, three BGM versions, the title card and next episode preview music.

Re: Best source for A Hero's Legacy?

This credit plate, including the ones on the other movies and specials on that DVD were, I very much believe, especially made for this release. (February 4th, 2013) :D

Do we have different DVD's? On mine it's a moving video and keeping the BGM piece intact.

Re: Best source for A Hero's Legacy?

While they use the same master, the Dragon Box release cut the sponsor card after the opening which some of the PAL releases (e.g. the spanish Selecta Vision or the french DVD release) retain.

Re: Surpass the Galaxy, Rising High (Full Instrumental)

Simple equalisation really. The quality of the source is already pretty good. After I pitch-correct the track I create a mono mix of the full length vocal track and set it below the instrumental. Then I can just go back and forth on both tracks until I think it sounds about the same. The problem wit...

Re: Surpass the Galaxy, Rising High (Full Instrumental)

Again if someone with a much better understanding of Audio editting programs would like to take a crack at it i'd love to hear it. Oi! It's not really that much better but I tried to make an instrumental mix myself this afternoon. You can listen to it right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNZ...
