i think Goku black is the goku who died from the hearth virus, and a makaioshin in otherworld stole / potara fused his body.

I'm hoping that Future Bulma was working to bring Goku back to help Trunks protect the future, but someone got there hands on him before she was done. At least that my hope 8) .

Maybe that's the machine Bulma was working on the last episode ?
