I was thinking about so many old Dragon Ball websites I used to visit daily back in the day, but seem to remember just a couple, aside from this one and Temple 'O Trunks of course.

I know we're frustrated that we're not getting the master footage, but, what do you guys think of it as a product compared to the other home releases, without the context of Funi screwing us, etc?

I've got the actual Dragon Boxes, but also a customized set, fused with the fan-remastered broadcast audio , which is my preferred way to watch the show.

But IMO the real question is: why Goku don't have a tail at the end of GT?
They're Saiyans! They double and quadruple their power in just a few years, let alone one hundred years! He might have found a new form and even surpassed SSJ4 and probably never needed the tail anymore.

Didn't much care for this episode.

I don't like the way these Universe 6 Saiyans achieve SSJ1 and SSJ2 so easily. Goku, Gohan and Vegeta went through so much to get those transformations.

Gohan went SSJ2 because he bottled up his anger for years and was afraid Cell was going to kill his mother ...

So, we know that Pure Evil Boo turned semi-good after absorbing Supreme Kaioshin, but couldn't fully control his temper. Given how Ultimate Boo had a much more stable and clever mind, could he have suppressed his evil side, given the right sort of company? After all, he did have a whole lot of good ...

True, but he sounds like a goofy cowboy a lot of the time with that overly southern accent.

I remember some kids at my school thought the voice actors are on vacation or sick, so they will be back soon. You had some kids that was like "I'm pretty sure that they will be back soon guys. They are probably sick in bed and they hire new ones to fill in for them".

I find that to be pure BS. Just like adults, kids love a story that pulls them in. They don't need something playing for every single second. True. Non-Funi voices I like:
-I think the guy that played Mr. Satan in Ocean was better than his Funi counterpart, because he actually sounded like a cheap, knockoff superhero, which is exactly what Mr. Satan is.

The first time I saw the Funi dub was when the Ocean cast was replaced on the second coming of Dragon Ball Z on 'Z-Day'. It was really jarring at first, but I got used to it. That being said, I always preferred the JP version even back then, coz I had already seen a few episodes and movies by then.

Does anyone have front and back scans for the single DVD of 'Earth's Last Hope' and the original DVD or VHS cover for 'Cell Games - Surrender'?

I'd be really grateful to anyone who could scan these for me.
