Re: New VA for Bulma
I'm fine with Hisakawa as the replacement VA. There's a certain way of speaking that Bulma has that I've heard in similar era female anime characters (I've actually thought whoever voiced 90's Sailor Mars sounded the closest, but I think she's retired) so it makes sense to pull from that age group....

What was AB involvement with Dragon Ball's score?
I heard they even had something to do with the music in the games distributed across Europe. What was the length of their involvement?

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Dragon Ball is drawing a hundred thousand viewers to SIC. It's pretty unreasonable of their part to actually pay for a dub even cheaper than portuguese standards rather than hiring a dub with bigger actor variety. Honestly, I think they deserve flop and not these huge ratings. They didn't even get t...

Re: LATIN AMERICAN DUB CONFIRMED (Brenda Nava Confirmed as translator!)
Well, as I said in my previous commentary, Wendel doesn't dub anything on Sigma since 2013 or 2014 maybe, when he was replaced in Steve Smith from American Dad. Not for bad relations with the bosses in Sigma, but for not being avaliable for work in other studios since he was busy directing many dub...

Remember Cartoon Network Brazil is airing Dragon Ball Kai again, months after the final chapters were dubbed and this is what Toei demands for Super airing on TV. And...

Re: Current state of the Toonami Asia English dub?
Since Asia has already licensed the first 52 episodes, FUNimation can't really stop the dubbing of those episodes but I could honestly see FUNimation "convincing" Toei not to let them dub any further. I wouldn't be surprised if FUNimation was left in the dark about this until the big anno...

Re: Current state of the Toonami Asia English dub?
Guys, Funi's DUB and Funi's LICENSE are two separate stuff. If they have the license for Super, it means no other company can license Dragon Ball in the US and whatever territories they also have the rights to in. That doesn't mean other dub can't happen in the US. It just can't be used there with c...
