I actually enjoyed the OVA, I think it does fine as a stand alone "feature". Yes it's cheap. Cheap doesn't always equal good however. Funny thing is, I think people would have been 100x happier if they'd just done a cheap set of the previous masters. 4:3 episodes, UUE quality, same price.
