The problem with the Omega Shenron fight was that the writers were already out of ideas and inspiration long before they got to it. That fight could’ve looked much more impressive in correlation to the level of power they were supposed to be at. It could’ve been a battle on a much larger scale than ...

The problem is that the writers seem to think Vegeta’s entire character revolves around this “rivalry” with Goku when that’s not really the case. Yes, for the longest time, it was a huge part of his character. But that was when his character was still being developed, and he wasn’t always like that ...

Just because its been shown in the title and preview doesn't mean it doesn't need to be shown. Thats like saying you didn't need to see the defeat Freeza in the Namek arc because it said so in the preview and episode title. Its still stuff that needs to be visually communicated and demonstrated to ...

They weren't trying to establish that at all. The episode wasn't about Jiren being stronger than Omen, it was about Goku's increasing mastery of the state.
Which they didn’t start getting into until the second half. The first half was them fighting equally, eventually giving the edge to Jiren ...
