Wow.. I now understand why Kai received that bad reputation.. these zero contours make characters very "lightweight", so out-of-place..

Brand new scenes in Dragon Ball Kai?
This may have been asked already in the past years (although I tried to find posts before creating this new topic), but is there any brand new exclusive scene(s) found anywhere in the Dragon Ball Kai series or all of them are just redrawn/"fixed" stuff, but nothing new that can't be found in the ...

Re: Toyble DBAF continuation project
Two more story arcs?? That is some optimism
I'd be happy that even vol. 6-7 would be finished.
Great news, thanks!

Re: Toyble DBAF continuation project
Hey,
First of all it's an awesome work I really like that and I love this manga for decades now!
And I'd even pay for it around a 100 USD to keep it going.. but 45 USD for a SINGLE page isn't it a bit much? :(
You can almost get full AAA video games for that price.. DB Multiverse doing it for ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
If all of this is true then if TOEI hates Toyo this much why do Toriyama consider him his successor? It'd be the best time to "build up" Toyotaro by TOEI as a successor whose work and stories counts and deserves to be animated since one day he will take the helm and be the new Toriyama.
I ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
You seem to have a few misconceptions about the first few years of Super... the manga was not adapting the anime ANY more than the other way around. NEITHER was an adaptation of the other. When it came to the U6 Tournament, Gokū Black, and Tournament of Power arcs, here's what ACTUALLY happened ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
I am a fan of Dragon Ball and I can say that I enjoy GT. I even have the DVD in my house, I watched the episode so many times.
As for DBS some episode was just terrible. Some characters are just written really bad and how they are treated the same really bad.
Yes, GT does have fans (me ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
Dragon Ball is a show that is just not working in a usual 26/52 episode seasons/year. It needs to go continously like Naruto/Boruto or One Piece, the lore, the "epicness" can't be contained into seasons..
There's only a little problem with that:
DB Fans hate "filler" (or non-Toriyama content ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
In contrast, Super's anime and manga from the VERY GETGO were entirely separate things that simultaneously did their own unique adaptations of Toriyama's story outlines, a VERY different beast than Bleach, or InuYasha, or Hunter X Hunter, or again... how Dragon Ball ITSELF was 30-40 years ago. It ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
TOEI's Dragon Ball Super ending itself was the "promise" it will continue..
These were the last words by the narrator:
"The endless challenge to go beyond all limits continues."
"When a new enemy appears.....Goku and his friends adventures begin again."
"UNTIL THEN, A BRIEF PARTING !"
"SEE YOU ALL ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
Good thing someone said it already. I hope Nozawa is kept on the role until her death bed to make all these vultures feel like shit.
Yay for forcing people to perform when they're almost dead or very sick. Such a caring approach towards elder VA.
How did that work out for the announcer ...

Re: Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
I understand your points but then for what reason the Super manga continues? Also there are tons of plot points that are not resolved with the current anime ending. And why do introduce 11 other universes (among them 4 fully unknown yet!) if you are not gonna explore them at all?

Could this be the reason they don't continue DB Super series yet?
Our beloved Japanese Seiyuus are simply too old for a weekly series (at least Masako Nozawa at 87 years old age), so they don't want anything to happen (death) during the long long show run and they will simply wait until an entirely new Goku's voice take over right from the beginning of DB Super ...

Does Sand Land have ANY connection to Dragon Ball universe?
Something like it is on a planet in the Dragon Ball world. Or it is the far past or far future of Dragon Ball's Earth.
I mean any connection that can be confirmed.
Thanks!

Yeah bad bad writing is certainly a thing here too.. but I wouldn't take this so seriously haha this is still a shounen for young boys (and for us, old boys
