Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
Broly started to get angry on his own, not because Paragus told him to do so. We can suppose that Broly wanted to get his revenge otherwise he wouldn't get mad and attack Vegeta first. But the thing is, again, the movie doesn't explain that, which is why I said the narration is plain bad. Like I sa...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
It's implied though. It's implied by the doctors that he might become the legendary Super Saiyan (A.K.A. Super Saiyan of legend. Not a separate form), because he had so much power as a baby. Though he never became one. Goku became the legendary Super Saiyan after which it stopped being a legendary....

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
By the way, when the Wrathful state awakened in Broly after he was kicked under the water, Goku asked Vegeta: "Have you ever seen a Saiyan like that before?" Could this be the reason why neither of them mentioned Kale or any similarity of her to Broly? Does this confirm the theory that the...

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
I guess Goku can learn pretty much anything, he completely mastered UI that is something for angels and GoDs, in less than an hour, so he shouldn't hit a wall with anything, really. The thing is he lost his tail and has developed his power by other means. One could say Goku actually did that in GT....

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
I feel the ability to harness or to attain a form that harnesses the power of an oozaru is something saiyans might be biologically capable to do, but it's something seemingly incredibly hard to do that only Broli can achieve because of his legendary status. I guess if some saiyan did achieve that f...

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
Hey there and best wishes. Anyway I feel the transformation can be done. During the original Dragon Ball there's a panel (Chapters 160: The Power of The Great Ape & 161: The Fist of Son Goku) where Goku taps to the power of the Oozaru from his base form which is somewhat similar to what Ikari i...

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
We don't know that. Have you watched the movie? I have watched it, and I can tell that Green aura appeared right after his eyes turned golden. You can ask the members here who watched the movie in case you haven't yet watched it. They need the tail and blutz waves to transform into Oozaru, nothing ...

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
Doesn't he have green aura during all of his forms (even regular SS)? I think it might be genetics. Also the whole mutant thing and all Oh wait, for some reason I thought you meant Broly's green haired form when reading the title. I don't really see Vegeta or Goku learning the form since it's below...

Re: Broly's Ikari .. Is it Genetically Inherent or Learnable?
I think it’s certainly learnable by any Saiyan. It’s just that.. No! The writers shouldn’t give that to any other Saiyan. This should be unique to Broly. It’s what sets him apart as a “mutant prodigy”. Let him have his green aura/ki/power while have Goku and Vegeta using SSJ Blue and Ultra Instinct...

Re: Caulifla is the first disciple of Goku?
Problem is, Goku in the manga had no encounter/fight with Caulifla as opposed to what we saw in the anime. Toyotaro seems to be closer to Toriyama than Toei's anime staff. So, I can't say that Goku & Caulifla have that master/disciple relationship, at least for the time being.

Broly's rage: is it inherently genetic or learnable?
So many threads and videos have been made since we got the information that Broly's Ikari is basically using the Great Ape power in human form —which makes it substantially SSJ4 in some sense— these threads discuss the possibility of Goku and/or Vegeta getting the said form in the future. The argume...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
What would have happened if Broly had gone SSJ2 against Blue Gogeta? I believe that Broly’s green haired form is basically his Super Saiyan form mixed with Oozaru’s power (which is 10x boost,or even more considering the power is in a normal form and not in a slow Oozaru body). This is eviden...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
So do we even know why this new Broly is just uncontrollable and violent and needs to be under Paragus' control? Yes indeed. It was hinted in the light novel. Broly, like any other Saiyan, has an instinct for battle. However, his instinct is uniquely "bottomless" and "uncontrollable&...

Re: Broly's next form(s) / Development!
I can tell that Toriyama based his own version of Broly on "Goku SSJ4". Look at the illustration he drew back in 2005 for SSJ4 Goku: http://i.imgur.com/dVtoniK.png you can obviously see that he looks very close to Base Broly. The portrayal of Broly as a primitive, Tarzan-esque (a.k.a the A...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
So what do you guys think about Vegeta’s hair going a noticeable dark green during his transformation and Goku seemingly briefly tapping into UI during his transformation to Blue from red? I have no clue...….. And that disturbs me. The UI thing can be explained as an Easter egg. I’m more disturbed ...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
Personally I feel that is planting the seeds to eventually introduce SSJ4 into Toriyama's canon. After all, SSJ4 is saiyan tapping into the Oozaru power without losing themselves to the beast. The concept of "human Oozaru" is what makes Toriyama's Broly a "mutant" and sets him a...
