Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
No need to be rude. It was an honest mistake. Not being rude, my man. You were surprised nobody was talking about an uninteresting point, when there was more meaty things to talk about. What discussion can come from pointing out that there was a continuity error? It's just a fun fact/trivia. Not so...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Ok I know this new chapter is out and everyone is talking about Granolah and UI Goku, but we have a plot hole on our hands that I don't think anyone has mentioned until now. So in chapter 67 Goku takes Esca Back to New Namek and uses Porunga to revive everyone killed by Moro and his men. And we kno...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So we have got new interview translations, thanks to Herms on twitter. According to Toyotaro he’s the one who designed Granolah. Which is interesting because it has a very Chrono Trigger style to it so I assumed it was a Toriyama design. He also mentioned how there was a connection to someone intere...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
The new designs that have come out seem so "db heroes" style that it seems obvious that they are demons or related to them I despise the scene in the anime with Goku getting Mad in Ultra Instinct. It is the blatant opposite of what the form is meant to be and if we are being honest points to the fa...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I'm happy they have "nerfed" MUI, it would have meant the end of Dragon Ball with Goku as the main character if he were on equal terms with the Grand Priest and Whis, something Toriyama has said he never intends to happen. Also not surprising since we see Whis use UI without changing appearance or ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So, At the end of the Chapter Granolah is heading back to Planet Cereal. This is interesting to me because that would imply Frieza doesn’t own it. Or that he didn’t come to the planet to conquer it but just to wipe out the race. So that makes me wonder what was so special about the Cerealians that m...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
However long it takes, I don't want Freeza to die until he has some comic misunderstanding with the Dragon God on a wish that leads to him gaining 5 cm in height by changing his skull shape to that of a chestnut. I'm firm on this position. You'd think that a futuristic, inter-galactic empire with h...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Given Whis said that Goku should learn his own unique fighting style, perhaps the next step in further pushing Ultra Instinct would be to master all fighting styles in the universe. This would be a prime opportunity to introduce someone like Pikkon for fan service and he have a fighting style based ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So Elek (or Elec or Erek) seems to be something of a mobster type. What with him talking about how “Information and Money is what it takes to rule the universe. Not really a stance we have heard from a seemingly important character in Dragon Ball so I’m interested in where it goes from here.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Maybe Angels can become intangible, so that no attacks can physically hit them? I don't think such an ability has ever been displayed before in Dragon Ball. Well technically Hit could do that in the anime via leaving behind a sort of afterimage when he time skipped. However I can’t imagine that suc...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I think the XX in the angel part is immortality, Merus got erased by a failsafe so I think thats the only thing apart form Zeno that can waste them. Well that had already been established and given the context of the sentence I assume he’s referring to his fight with Goku and for it to be relevant ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So based on the current information my thought is that Goku in UI spars with Whis and Whis in this instance actually has to put a sliver of effort into beating him and uses a power or technique we have never seen before. And Vegeta seeing said technique wants to learn it. Edit: So this is roughly wh...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So has anyone mentioned the fact that the whole "The Universe's strongest warrior is about to be born" isn't just a promotional tagline. If you look at the trailer you can match up the Kanji with the Oracle Fish's Speech Bubbles. The Oracle fish is saying this, so it's more than likely actually goin...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Where are the spoilers??? Perhaps more strangely, why is no one talking about it? It’s the 13th now! Is everyone on the internet asleep or something??! Really strange how I’m the only one who noticed and is talking about it. I was keeping my eye and fell asleep after nothing popped out at the usual...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So, when it comes to the topic of what exactly Granola Survived I think we as a fanbase should temper our expectations. This could easily be a situation where its like Moro’s Third Wish. So I for one will be going in Cautiously optimistic.

Absolutely, I agree and I honestly don’t want him to replace Toyotaro. Just another Spin off Manga to tell more stories. The Undying wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 8:36 pmI've read enough of Dragon Garow Lee's work to say I'm thoroughly unimpressed with his writing, but I like some of his art.
The manga's just fine in Toyotaro's hands.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Honestly, How cool would it be for there to be a dragon ball super spin off that was done by Dragon Garow Lee. I’ve seen his art and its far better than Toyotaro’s best. Maybe some kind of Hit spin off. Honestly I would do that would be very interesting.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
So, I have a controversial take here. Merus’s Sacrifice and later resurrection in my opinion is...ok? I mean its not the best ever, but its not bad either. Although I disagree with a lot of the sentiment that him being brought back means Dragon Ball Death Has no Consequences. First of all, as long a...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Ok, so I just attempted to reread the Moro arc and I very quickly realized that this arc has virtually no rereadablity to it. It feels drainingly slow at the start and a lot of the buildup of enjoyment came from cliffhangers and the thought of what Moro could do and any future interest. With the Bui...
