Re: Need help identifying a song

https://youtu.be/odKPdhiY46s Obviously by the video title it's a Dragon Ball song, and it does have a familiar feel to it, but I can't for the life of me figure out just where it's from. I know it not one of the openings or closings from the regular tv shows. I'm wondering if it was an insert song ...

Re: How did you come to know about dragonball?

Dragon Ball Taiketsu, I don't think I could have asked for a worse introduction into this franchise if I tried :( My second experience was a lot better tough, it was one of the tenkaichi games on the wii that I played at a friend's house, basically every character and a lot of the general themes of ...

Re: Funi's Kai dub and accuracy

There's a scene in TFC where Chi Chi and Bulma are discussing who's husband is stronger and Chi Chi very strongly implies that Goku has never lost a single fight, even though he's lost like half a dozen fights throughout the series and she even witnessed his loss against Cell. That's the only major ...

Did he also work on the instrumental version? Because that one sounded almost exactly like the gaiden soundtrack. Yeah, that's what I mean. The vocal version still uses his instrumental after all. I know, but the instrumental one is somewhat different to the regular one, and comes across as more of...

Hah, I was thinking of making a thread about this OST myself but you beat me to it. The composer caught the heart of DB and these tracks fit the adventurous theme of Gaiden. He did a really good job there. It's worth noting that "We Gotta Power" - the second opening to DBZ, was also done ...

Re: Preserving the Nicktoons Airings of DB Material

Nicktoons kai also uses the localised attack names for the kienzan and taiyoken (with the exception of the first kienzan for some reason) the whole time, unlike the uncut version which uses the regular japanese names and then switches them back to the localised ones when the Artificial Human saga be...

Found it, it's "M2021/The Need To Fuse" from the 12th movie.

Re: What's that BGM in the Japanese version? Read the OP!

Anyone know which track is used in the Kikuchi version of Episode 19 of Kai when Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan land on Namek? Unlike most of the music, I think it was only used in this scene. Could you post a short clip of that scene? Cause I'd like to be able to help but I can't for the life of me fin...

Re: Brice Armstrong (Captain Ginyu, Lord Slug) passed away

That's depressing to hear. He was definetly one of the highlights in the english dub of dragon ball, his voice kinda gives off a sort of bedtime story feel that I think really fits the original series.
