Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

The Ginyu Force wins. I agree with DBZ Macky's take. Although considering Babidi also had Spopovich and Yamu on his team, and that they weren't even proper ki users, Pui Pui might even be weaker than we give him credit for. But Yakon himself is 40M. Oh right, I forgot about Yakon lol. I got caught ...

Re: Should Freeza have never been revived in Super?

Overall...no. The idea is pretty lazy and silly. Especially the dumb way they keep him relevant. 4 months? come on. Although, honestly he became the best part of Super. He had the most growth, he was entertaining, the art with him was when the show was at it's best, and in the Broly movie, I think h...

Frieza could eradicate them all easily. With Yakon he would need 100% to one shot

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

I do really enjoy your take on the universal conflicts and superstition. Here's Part 2 of the Zamasu arc: In the middle of the multiverse, an emergency meeting is held in regards to the sudden assassination of Rumsshi. The other destroyers, apart from Champa, believe that Beerus intends on taking o...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

Battle of Gods: Had it not been for Beerus' line at the end about the multiverse, this could have been a nice epilogue for the franchise. Kind of a "there are always better fighters out there, keep training" message. Beerus' line is exactly why it works so well as a final to the original manga befo...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

The whole Vegeta licking his fingers thinking about Freeza still being alive doesn't work for me though, I'm really done with Freeza for now, at least until late DBS, if at all. You could even add that Freeza erased Namek right before heading to Earth, so only the SDBs could save them now. I'm real...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

You make a good argument. There’s no reason for Beerus to be THAT far above the others GoDs I agree. But I was thinking how he was a moving goal post for Goku and Vegeta. I could have Beerus less than 25x stronger than initial SSJ God Goku and Vegeta. With the other Gods of Destruction being just a...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

This is my story. And I make the rules. In my story, Ultra Instinct DOES suit Vegeta! And you can call it boring all you want, but I don’t care about all these strange morals you guys seem to have. I only care about what makes sense from a progressive storytelling perspective. And as things stand n...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

Nice ideas! I like how everything flows from one arc to the other. Thanks a lot, I'm hoping to connect the other stories in a similar way. I like the smooth transition and love others receive. I also enjoy a sense of urgency with U6 arc. I have a feeling if you continue the connections th...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

So only SSJ God and Ultra Instinct for Goku and Vegeta. No Yardrat, no Spirit Control. No SSJ Blue or beyond. No random mortal aliens as villains. Only Gods of Destruction and later down the line Angels. SSJ God - Mastered SSJ God - Ultra Instinct - Mastered Ultra Instinct. SSJ God = 1 Trillion x S...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

I think relying on numbers is a really faulty way to tell a story. Stories are about emotional fulfillment and getting lost in the trenches of numbers and the like is really dangerous. I've got a few ideas for a 'rewrite' of Dragon Ball Super . They're not all that finished, though. One of the idea...

Re: My Dragon Ball Super rewrite

Well not trying to sound rude. It's not a story. There aren't any arcs. Unless your saying Super should have been one giant training arc to rematch with Beerus. However, that sounds hard to do. Who would Goku and Vegeta use these forms to fight? I like the Mastered SSG talk and the idea that Blue ha...

Re: Andriod frieza Vs golden frieza

Lapis and Lazuli went from 0-5 PL to be in the hundred millions as androids (above Freeza and SS). Gero made them many millions times stronger than before, so that kind of improvement on top of 120 M power level Freeza had would be a lot, definitely stronger than Golden Freeza. Where would you rank...

Re: The All-Purpose "What-If " Thread

What if Ssjb 2 and 3 were things in Super Are the power differences the same? If so then they wouldn't overly matter seeing as he can go x20 blue. However, assuming that the kaioken applies to the other SSB forms then he could go ssbX160 which would at least be omen level. So I guess Jiren and Goku...

Re: Do you still enjoy non-canon Dragon Ball content?

What aspect of the original Broly's backstory did you guys prefer? Just curious. I liked that it was more violent, as it showed just how brutal the Saiyans were. To add to what ABED said, I think having Broly just be a psychopath the whole time instead of going back and forth was the better option....

Re: Do you still enjoy non-canon Dragon Ball content?

I also forgot to mention that as far as canon vs. non-canon goes, I actually kind of prefer the old Broly’s backstory over the canon one’s, although I am inclined to say that the new movie is a bit better overall. I agree with this, but did the original Broly need a remake ? Despite the new one bei...

Tenshinhan learning the mafuba. Goku learning training with Kaio/learning the genki dama. Gotenks Ultimate Gohan ... And that's just examples from the original series. Should I go on? Kaioken helped fight Vegeta off and Genki dama killed Buu. I wouldn't say those were wasted. I guess because they d...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

If Vegeta either doesn’t defuse 73-Moro with his new technique, or finishes him off after MUI Goku weakened him, then all of his training on Planet Yardrat would have been for nothing! And we would have every reason and right to complain as hard as we’d like. You don’t build someone up for so long ...
