Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Ok so basically what's happened is that the heeters having conversation about betraying frieza and Bardock heard the whole thing and Heeters figured out that Bardock heard the whole about thing and then so they came up with a plan to wipe out the entire race by telling a super saiyan legend to friez...

So Raditz is the black sheep of the family then
Bardock can show mercy , Gine is Gine , and Kakarotto became Son Goku , Raditz doesn’t have a redeeming quality about him at all , he uses every trick on the book to gets his way and had no problem killing his blood even when he knows the race is gone , do you think Raditz was influenced by Vegeta a...

Re: What does Vegeta find funny?
He did find Tien losing his arm amusing , Vegeta always had dark and sadistic humor , he made fun of his victims before killing them like Guldo and Zarbon .

Why didn't Future Bulma tell Trunks about Gero's lab ?
Bulma could've easily found something in the lab , and even killed Cell while he was a baby , my own theory about this is that after Trunks desactivated the androids he was about to return not to tell his comrades about his victory but to actually pay a visit to Gero , thats why Cell returned 4 year...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
The final arc seems like the most lazy, obvious, cliche story idea possible but people enjoy it somehow. I'm not sure how anyone can call that the least bit creative or, especially, good. People enjoy it (or the idea at least) because not only was it continuing a plot point established in Toriyama'...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
it was average for me . Well, that's an improvement since last time it was a torture  Yeah, GT's ending really feel like a definitive ending to franchise. Last arc's plot itself implies this is the end, let alone ending. Make sure to watch TV special "A hero's legacy", it's a story ...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
I just finished GT ,what i loved about the final arcis that it focused about what Elder Kai said in the boo arc ,such a cool touch , but the fight with the One star dragon dragged on for too long , i found the last 2 episodes to be the best in GT , especially after Vegeta and the others last stand t...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
Back on the subject on the original post I agree with the TC that the series is an absolute pain to watch. It does seem like a drop in "maturity" from a show aimed at 10 year olds to a show aimed at 5 or less in my opinion. One thing that seems to happen anytime people criticize GT though...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
How else you'd have Baby Vegeta then ? Keep Baby in his original body. What does him taking over Vegeta or anyone else's body add or take away from his personality or motives ? It was already established that vegeta's pride is too much for him to be controlled, so if anything it just contradicts th...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
My only complain is that they could've made good episodes out of Goku and Pan before they found out that their family is controlled by Baby , it would've been more dramatic when they finally show their true colors . I think the biggest missed opportunity is taking Vegeta completely out of the pictu...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
The only proper way to watch any anime is to start at episode 1 and watch until last episode, unless there are some completely filler episodes which GT lacks due to its nature, as it has no manga and is completely seperate product. For GT you also have a great TV special episode, with some people s...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
You have already gone through the worst, so it can only go up from there. Although it will start to sink in the Super 17 arc, not to the Bonpara levels, so I'd say you'll start enjoying it now. You're right , the baby arc is good , it could've been better but it is way better than the space travell...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
GT is not an "edgy" show. It's a sentimental, fun epilogue to the original Dragon Ball storyline that tries a lot of new, interesting ideas. It doesn't gel with a lot of peoples' tastes, and it's not a patch on the original run. And it doesn't help that episode 2, and pretty much all of e...

Re: How to properly watch GT ?
Asking if there's an easy way to watch GT is like asking if there's an easy way to gouge your eyes out. Unfortunately, despite "improving" starting with the 16th episode, it's not much better. If the first 15 episodes are a 2/10, the rest of the show is close to a 4/10. I've tried multipl...

How to properly watch GT ?
I've been a fan for years but i never watched GT fully , i am rewatching it now in Japanese , i'm currently in episode 9 and to put it nicely , it's been a torture to watch , it's like this first episodes were for kids below 10 not the same edgy stuff from Z or even OG series , anyway , if someone c...

Re: Do you think the Boo saga was the most brutal in the series ?
Without Videl , Gohan wouldn't have participated in the tournament and without him entering Goku and Vegeta wouldn't because they wouldn't know about it , so basically Goku stays in the afterlife with Babidi and Dabura wandering the earth for energies until they meet Vegeta or Gohan who would finis...

Re: Do you think the Boo saga was the most brutal in the series ?
The brutality against videl does feel excessive seeing as how it's not some important bad guy doing it. It's a lackey who gets offed a few episodes later and to a character who wasn't important to the plot. Spopovitch was important because he represented Bobbidi's crew. He was showing just how evil...

Is it possible that Future Goku didn't keep his body ?
Goku in the Boo saga was able to travel freely in the next world and he even spoke with Gohan with Kaio's help , maybe the reason why he didn't keep in touch in the future is because he couldn't keep his body due to his natural death ? What do you think about this theory ?

Re: Do you think the Boo saga was the most brutal in the series ?
The Boo saga is definitely the darkest and bleakest of them all. That's probably fitting since it's the final story. It's also the most ridiculous of the arcs. I like the way that magic is portrayed as not this happy, frivolous or wonderful little thing. Instead, magic is deadly. Magic is sickening...
