2008 JSAT Special Manga Questions
I have recently started looking for the manga version of the 2008 JSAT special from Naho Ōishi, but all that I’ve found so far is the animanga version. There’s not even a cover available of the actual tankōbon that I’ve been able to find so I can narrow down my search based on the cover text, which ...

Re: Walmart Exclusive Dragon Ball Z Bluray sets
Yeah, they are basically identical to the 2013 Blu-ray release. Only differences that I can see are some of the ads, and the packaging. Discs are just about identical as well.

Masako Nozawa is my personal favorite and preferred version, but I also really find myself partial to Ian Corlett’s dub performance.

Re: Soundtrack glitch on season 1 orange brick (UK release)
It's the entire episode. Very noticeable during the recap, title card and eyecatches. I just checked on my Blu-ray player and the audio was normal for the US Broadcast version. I think there’s a slim chance of a weird glitch for the UK version, more likely it’s a codec not playing nice with VLC. Is...

Re: Soundtrack glitch on season 1 orange brick (UK release)
I recently started buying the UK releases of the DBZ orange brick DVDs by Manga Entertainment, and I just started watching the first disc of season 1 on my laptop using VLC. I have the US broadcast audio selected (my preferred option), but on episode 4 (Piccolo's Plan) it has both the Nathan Johnso...

FighterZ is gorgeous, I definitely have to admit that.Anonymous Friend wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 3:36 pm The only cutscenes I find even remotely interesting are the ones in FighterZ.

Re: Dragon Ball video game cutscenes vs. the source material…what’s your favorite?
Overall, I absolutely would read the manga or watch the series. I’m asking more about individual scenes and moments in the series that get redone, looking at them as their own takes on the source material.

Dragon Ball video game cutscenes vs. the source material…what’s your favorite?
So I was watching some YouTube videos of older Dragon Ball games I’ve played, and it got me thinking…I actually prefer some of the cutscenes in the video games over the manga and anime versions. Now I know I can’t be alone in this train of thought, I’m curious to see what other people think. As for ...

Re: Who's your favorite enemy from the Red Ribbon saga?
I’m sure it’ll come across as an odd choice, but I really like Buyon. His Dragon Quest-esque design always stands out to me, and he’s one of the first battles Goku actually has to use his head to win.

I think I found the right issues, the covers feature Yu-Gi-Oh and the next two feature Dragon Ball. Thank you again for your help!

Paper Quality in February 2015 - April 2015 V-Jump?
Hey, I was wondering if I could get some insight from anyone who owns the V Jump issues from February 2015 through April 2015. I know the paper stock in Weekly Shonen Jump is pretty much the lowest of the low, is V Jump any better? I want to get the issues for the Toyotaro chapters for “Fukkatsu no ...

It sounds to me like your complaints lie mainly with transformation aesthetic. I guess it’s a case of to each their own, there’s really no right or wrong opinion.

Re: Your Kanzenshuu (prev. Daizenshuu EX/Kanzentai) Discovery & Introduction
Let’s see…I’d say I first remember the name VegettoEX from searching for Dragon Ball images online, back in the days of the Anime Web Turnpike and when everyone seemed to have basic HTML pages on either Geocities or Angelfire. I’ve been a fan of the series since the original US airing, my mother act...

Re: Welp, I’m done, never thought I’d say it, but I’m done.
I thought the chapter was really good, and Vegeta’s new form suits him. It makes me wonder though, did anyone complain when Goku went Ōzaru for the first time? How about Super Saiyan 3? Both of those have no eyebrows and are definitely far removed from the original character design, but are consider...

Re: Should they remake Dragon Ball Z Legends or make a sequel ?
A sequel would be amazing, as long as they included the original game somewhere. The remake could add more arcs, characters, and even the obligatory what-if battles. The only downside to that is they would probably replace the first game’s great soundtrack, as it’s a work by Kenji Yamamoto.

Tankōbon Reproduction covers?
Hey all, I’m new here(but definitely not new to the fandom) and hopefully I put this in the right area. Anyway, I have a question about tankōbon covers as per the OP thread. I recently purchased the entire 42 volumes of Dragon Ball from eBay, and was super excited until I opened the box and discover...
