Re: How to get ahold of Raging Blast 2 with BT2 music?

I've recently been interested in tracking down Kenji replacement score releases such as the Kai season sets and Budokai HD Collection. So, how do I find RB2 with the Budokai Tenkaichi 2 music, specifically for the PS3? That is certainly interesting. It is usually the other way around with people lo...

Re: Help Me Gather the Lost Remants of the Toonami Dub?

What are the differences between Ver. 1 and Ver. 2 of Funimation's Dragon Ball Z dub? I know of Dale Kelly being replaced by Kyle Herbert as the narrator starting with the second volume of the Cell Games Saga as well as the entirety of the Great Saiyaman Saga, but was there any other differences be...

Re: Least Common Pioneer/Funimation DVD singles?

I'm not sure about rarity of the other singles, but everything up to Garlic Junior is more sought after because they contain Funimation's original dub with the Ocean Studios cast for episodes 1-53, Chris Sabat's Brian Drummond impression, Dale Kelly, etc, hence them going for high prices individual...

Re: Help Me Gather the Lost Remants of the Toonami Dub?

I'm interested in restoring the lost Funimation's Dragon Ball Z Ver. 1 and Funimation's Dragon Ball Z Ver. 3 . The versions that aird on WB and Cartoon Network (or YTV if you're Canadian), from 1996 till 2008 (?). Ver. 2 would be what was on the DVD singels, and Ver. 4 would be what's on all DVDs/B...

Least Common Pioneer/Funimation DVD singles?

What are the least common Funimation/Pioneer DVD singles? I've heard some discussion about the rarity of certain VHS tapes (namely edited Dragon Ball ones) but I haven't seen discussion about the DVD side. In my personal experience, there are very common ones and not so common ones. For example, som...

Re: Would you feel confident in the series if it were left in Toyotarou's hands?

I'm not a fan of the Dragon Ball Super manga's writing, so I would not. As stated already in this thread, Toei isn't that much better, but I still believe that the Super anime turned out better than the manga did.

Re: The Dragon Boxes and Their Faults

Not an authentic sound for the time, but it still has a certain vintage sound to it. It's the same sort of feeling as watching an old VHS recording with poor sound quality. Ironically, even some of the VHS recordings have better quality audio than what's on the Dragon Boxes. Yes, and it's certainly...

Re: The Dragon Boxes and Their Faults

It sounds very vintage. Just saying, insofar as it's Toei (like Saint Seiya or FotNS), not so with contemporary anime series by most other studios. Not an authentic sound for the time, but it still has a certain vintage sound to it. It's the same sort of feeling as watching an old VHS recording wit...

Re: The Dragon Boxes and Their Faults

While the Dragon Box audio has become obsolete, it still has its own charm. It sounds very vintage. My biggest issue with Dragon Box Z is the faded colors and general discoloration. I admit that the Dragon Box Z color scheme has its own charm as well, but I can't get over the green skies on earth. K...

Re: Comparison shots from every single DBZ release

Those Funimation film reel stills are gorgeous. What are the chances of us getting that level of quality in a release? Pretty low, I imagine. It sure would be awesome though.
