God forms being so above Buu saga power levels was a mistake. It's what made characters fighting alongside Goku/Vegeta like Future Trunks in the Zamasu arc and then Android 17 in the tournament of power make no sense.

If Goku/Vegeta are scaled so far above everyone else, how on earth can everyone ...

I mean the videogames will always use characters from every show, we know that, but that's not the issue. What is the point of making new TV shows without the intent for it to be canon?

As much as I want it to be canon, it's already getting hard to reconcile. We have 1 episode left to fit things in and 20 minutes is not enough especially when the fighting is probably going to take up most of the episode.

The initial appeal when Daima was first announced was that Toriyama was finally going to flesh out the demon realm we heard about in the Buu saga with Dabrua being the demon king. We FINALLY got to see what the demon realm *actually is* and all this new lore.

Gomah being weaker than Super Buu is certainly something. This might be the first time the next main villain is weaker than the one before it. That's never really happened before.

What plot holes need to be resolved?

1. Supreme Kai and Kibito fusing again

2. Goku having no access to Super Saiyan 4 after Daima, as Goku tells Beerus he has no forms after SSJ3 when they first meet.

3. Vegeta not going Super Saiyan 3 again is pretty explainable, he had no reason to use it much ...

I still don't understand what makes it a Super Saiyan form? At least 1, 2 and 3 all look like evolutions of each other.

They had a chance this time to make Super Saiyan 4 something different...and chose not to? Doesn't help we have the God and Blue forms in Super now that use the original Saiyan ...

I do hope we get SSJ4 Vegeta next week but I mean, there's like 20-30 minutes for the episode right?

It's weird people were praising Daima during the start for having a more adventure vibe similar to the original Dragon Ball, but now these last few eps are just straight up late-DBZ or GT style all fighting power-up episodes. It seems people are really conflicted what they wanted out of Daima. If ...

Do you guys think Trunks and Goten will remain relevant going forward? They had an aversion to using them as kids but now that's no longer an issue.

The only way they can fit everything into 1 episode is if Goku wipes the floor with Gomah within the first 8-10 minutes of the ep. Then the last 10 minutes are the resolution for everything, we still don't know what Arinsu or Neva will do after Gomah is defeated.

Goku and the others talking about running out of stamina when Dende is standing right there reminds me of the first GT episode when Dende tells Popo, "Get me the first aid kit!"

I think the third eye just keeps him at "full health" no matter how much damage he takes. It does seem that SSJ3 does do a tremendous amount of damage to him, even Goku did as a kid. So placing him around high Super Saiyan 3 level probably fits. He may actually be weaker than Super Buu.

The difference is Toriyama had just been working on Super and its stories continuously from 2013 to the recent Super Hero movie with Beast Gohan and Cell max.

Daima was in pre-production for at least 2 years so they were working on it at roughly the same time. Toriyama didn't suddenly "forget" that ...
