I must say, it is pretty odd that they did a 16:9 for broadcast AND DVD, but for the Blu-ray you get the 4:3 (which hey, no complaints if it has more picture). This is Toei though (I say that knowing how they handled the first batch of 16:9 One Piece episodes with a 4:3 DVD release cropping the side...

FUNimation already said on their blog that they will be uploading the panel to their Youtube.

Yup, haha. FUNi's logo and all on it.

So glad it was announced. I was gonna start questioning if it wasn't at Otakon or SDCC.

Out of respect for FUNi, I kept my mouth shut because I didn't see anyone noticing it. Figured this on Tuesday when this was posted.

I think all Kai did was show how much the series has aged. When you can see the video shaking, zoom-ins looking pretty cruddy (like with the farmer dude), etc. It is more of a turn-off. Especially when you got these shiny intros and outros attached. Not to mention new shiny eyecatches in the middle ...

A fun conversation. Anyways, I do wish more series from years ago would come out in the U.S. As I said many times, I liked the Zabuza part in Naruto. I started as a Naruto fan. "This was awesome!" Then I read Chuunin exam... "This is Hunter X Hunter but dull" Then the next part, ...
