George Lazenby is pretty underrated. I mean, uhh... See, I think the opposite. Anyway, the Vegeta/Gohan bond always seemed wonderfully understated, even though it has subtely motivated the two characters at times and pushed the story, from time to time. It's less obvious, but it's there, and to me ...

From the videos I saw, it looked terribly goofy and unimpressive. Even the transformations made me snicker, since I immediately compared them to those in DBZ3. And yes, it is from a different company, but if I remain unimpressed, there's no reason to buy it. Like any game, I'll just wait for reviews...

Everyone plays generally the same, and thus I'm good with anybody. I prefered playing as Cell, Freeza, and Tien, though Piccolo was fun since his stretching limb attacks disturbed other players not so knowledgable of Dragonball lore. I could smack people around best as Goku and Vegeta. But I general...

I think we can all agree on this particular example being the best filler sequence in the series. This is while Vegeta and the others are on Earth, waiting for Goku and Freeza to finish their fight on Namek. Vegeta proceeds to beat the raging hell out of Gohan, and then flies far far FAR into the ho...

Yes, DB and DBZ has had their collective run on television, and while I think they deserve to be aired at least once a week because of the wonderful ratings they once bequeathed unto Cartoon Network, the DVD releases might make executives think reruns are unnecessary. Cartoon Network does seem to be...

You're arguing the wrong point: when people say that it's because a movie's visuals, acting, audio and sooo much more is fed to you. You do not interperate anything in a movie (besides intent and meaning of the plot) because what you see is what you get. With books it's up to the reader to interper...

Yes, we need to remember that Hollywood isn't out to make art. We also need to remember that it's less than likely that some talented independent director with a small budget is going to go on a mission to produce the best, most critically praised Dragonball Z film possible. I can't dare imagine wha...

True that the transformation in the anime are better than in the manga Er...I don't remember reading a concensus about that... The truth is that the ones in the anime are the most drawn out and are more typically referenced, regardless of whether they're better or worse. When someone just mentions ...

Trunks had pretty much served his entire purpose in the DBZ story, and thus he was gotten rid of. If he'd stuck around, he'd share the same fate as anyone else not of immediate importance. Be grateful he left when he did. He wasn't necessary, thus he wasn't included in the saga. Besides, it's for th...

And her tits proper pop out and eveything. Huh...? Anyway, his designs tend to be very similar, no matter what series he's drawing for. This isn't good or bad, it's just that you can always tell when Toriyama designed a character/costume or not. While yes, this game looks great and I know how wonde...

Favorite transformation sequence?
The transformations are unquestionably a vital part of DBZ. It's both the reason why many people (who only watched one episode) hate the series so passionately and one of the reasons why many love it (because the scenes are dramatic and look cool). What's your favorite transformation in the series? ...

If GT bothered you to the extent that you wrote such a pathetic post, why not do as the thread asked and explain what you would change about it? I was (more or less) presenting a counter argument by stating that it shouldn't be changed at all, if we're talking about any change aside from having GT ...

Personally, if we're talking about the core Dragonball manga story, I think nothing should be changed about it. At all. The unnecessary filler, however, means nothing to me. Frankly, I just ignore GT. No offense to GT fans, but there's so much already wrong with it that adding more crap would just b...

Budoukai has more replay value, has more attack variety and better dialogue (both with winks and nods to fans and some funny moments), takes longer to unlock everything, and is funner for those who aren't hardcore Dragonball fans (due to the seemingly monstrous learning curve of Sparking! to nonfans...

I concur: a create-a-character mode wouldn't really benefit the series. I'd rather have a game with more fully developed characters and game modes than a mode by which I can some create generic looking Saiyans or Namekians. Chances are, most people will be pick the same armor, attacks, facial featur...
