I mean SSJ2. IT just seems like everyone was surprised when he went SSJ2 after being possessed by Babidi. But he achieved SSJ2 during the seven year peace.

I have a quick question. Why did none of the Z fighters sense/feel it when vegeta achieved SSJ2 on Earth? I mean its a lot of power you would think someone would feel the power.

Do you guys think that the reason why Goku started making stupid decisions in the later arcs(such as Cell arc and Buu arc) is because of him(Goku) embracing his Saiyan heritage?

Well maybe when they did unfuse after using Super Saiyan for 5 minutes they did revert to base then unfuse? We did not see the scene so we do not actually know how it happened.

Gohan's Mystic would cancel out Goku's Super Saiyan and vice versa, so the resulting fusion would be weaker than Vegetto. I don't really follow that logic. Well anime-wise I would say: -Goku and Piccolo Jr. fight -Goku fighting Pure Buu as a SSJ2 -Everything with Vegetto -Vegeta beating the crude out of Gohan when they get wished to earth during the Namek arc -ultimate Gohan vs. Buu Manga-wise: -Cell vs. Goku - the whole fight against Nappa and Vegeta....
