I want to obtain these now if possible but if I order online and will just have to wait until the 17th or whatever for it to ship i'd rather just wait to go in s...

Best Buy has em. I've been so behind on Dragonball I didn't even think they released anything on Blu Ray after the Brolli movies.BrollysKin wrote:For some reason I cant find most of the movies on bluray on amazon.

It's not a LCD TV, it's an LCD monitor. There's a difference I believe... It's an LG Flatron L1510P with a resolution of 1024 x 768... You mean I'm fucked because I watch my DVD's on this resolution? What, should I swith to 640x480? I don't remember such a resolution on a PC monitor. I'm kinda lost...

Is it just me or does grain show up more on a LCD monitor compared to a normal CRT TV? Thats because your LCD is mos tlikely a 1366x768 pixel display. With LCDs, because they have a set amount of pixels it has to upscale. These DVD's are 640x480p so your TV has to upscale to its native resolution. ...

I have no idea what you said lol, I only know with a upscaling ps3 and HDtv you can make remastered come pretty close to the Blueray version. There is no Blu-ray version available, so why would you make that comparison? Anyway, I also want to know how far along into the series does this set take us...

Once again, I s'pose I'm of the minority who'll be buying all of these boxsets from start to finish. Aheheheh.. You're not alone. I, along with millions of other people are still going to buy the sets. They look gorgeous on my TV; the colors, image etc is just lightyears ahead of what I'm used to. ...

I just got done poppin this in my DVD player at home and watching it on my TV for the first time and I must say that I love the video. I was originall watching it on my Toshiba Satellite S6084 and the video quality was ok, but the contrast and such seemed extra high. I'm not a videophile but I'm ass...

All very valid thoughts, but I think the reason you rub -some- people the wrong way is if they disagree with you you label them as idiots, either by claiming superior knowledge of video formatting (which may be true but saying it to marginalize someone elses opinion tends to set them off), or call ...

I dunno....as much as FUNimation screws up, I don't blame them for not having the Dragonbox footage. I remember since the beginnings of time about how TOEI are anal about how they handle stuff like that. I remember it actually started around the time the first FUNi DVD's came out and people bitched ...

You're right, it really would be about 2 years for the entire series to be released under this format. *sigh. I was hoping that by the time I graduated from high school I would have already been able to sit down and cruise through the entire series with leisure. Guess not. Thanks FUNimation...I hat...

I got the set myself, despite being swayed by all the negativity it was receiving on every form and I'm pleased I guess. The quality is definitely a lot better than the old FUNi DVD's. The widescreen hasn't bothered me too much because I watch it on my Toshiba Satellite Notebook I just bought recent...
