How long have you been involved with this series? Around 1998 or so. How did it begin? I came home from school, flipped to Cartoon Network, and my first episode just so happened to be "Arrival." How did it affect your lifestyle? I tried to learn Japanese. Unfortunately, I didn't attain an...

Interesting posts.

For many years, I always thought that Kid Buu was actually the strongest form, but it appears that most users here feel that Super Buu is stronger.

Stronger or weaker after absorbing South Kaioushin?

When Kid Buu absorbs South Kaioushin and becomes Buff Buu, does his power increase or decrease?

I didn't mind the animation during the Trunks def. Androids sequence, but the Trunks def. Imperfect Cell one was noticeably poor, especially after Trunks throws Cell into the air.

Mandarin Dub and Food Names

Did the Mandarin Dub preserve the food jokes? The jokes that came from Chinese should have been easily maintained. For example, Tenshinhan and Chaozu are both foods. I can picture confused Chinese audiences getting hungrier every time "jiaozi" is mentioned (until they get used to it). But,...

So we've got two users stating that it appears on Mystical Adventure (during a Tenshinhan-Chaozu scene).

Huh, given that the flashback itself is composed of Dragon Ball sequences, I wouldn't be surprised if the music would be found on a Dragon Ball CD, and not a Z one!

Wow, that was quite the emotional scene. The music made me sorry for him whereas before I didn't care too much. I don't remember those flashbacks from when it was first televised. Very sad. I don't remember the flashbacks, either. I think they were edited because they're mostly from Dragon Ball, an...

Background music in Tenshinhan's Saiyajin Saga Flashback?

http://www.daizex.com/general/ask/archive/2004_05_30.shtml The first question was In the Japanese version of the Saiya-jin saga, there's a pretty music piece that plays when Tenshinhan has visions from when Chaozu and he were training. The stuff with Tsurusennin, climbing Karin's tower, etc... I wan...

That's insane...
I have similar feelings.

The series in the United States has come a long, long way since we first saw it.

Ocean Group on CN prior to 2000?

I first saw Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network in 1999, if I recall correctly. I remember it was back when Greg Werner's site was still hosted on goes. Anyway, my question is, did I actually listen to the Ocean Group dub instead of the FUNimation dub? There were lines like "it'll grow back" ...

Pronunciation of 完?

I finished reading one of the gag mangas posted here on the forums (not Neko Majin Z).

As a Chinese speaker, I know 完 is pronounced "wan."

I'm curious. What is the Japanese pronunciation?
