Re: Need footage for Dragon Ball GT project

If it's literally just standard, existing, in-print, widely-available television series footage you're looking for, purchase your own materials. This is not a bootlegging/piracy community.

Re: Will Toonami survive without new Dragon Ball Content?

Kokonoe , you don't appear to be interested in genuine conversation, and have been removed for the time being. Things like "I'm quoting just to show how long this is" (along with, well, basically every other response you've had here) is a gross misrepresentation what conversation on Kanzenshuu shou...

That was perfectly understandable, and quite frankly more-so than some stuff from plenty of native English speakers when they post here.

Welp, guess DBS will not have Broly back again.
Bin Shimada isn't going anywhere, and Shueisha/Toei don't base their character inclusions on their own cast anyway, nevermind some other country's dub cast.

Re: Vic Mignogna

So basically he just a freeloader, and Funi won't hire him again "Freeloader" (someone who hangs on and doesn't pay their fair share) is not the same thing as "Freelancer" (someone who works on their own independent from a company). It's possible he's both, but I'm not his friend and have no clue. ...

What the Sam f hell, Vic lost the suit. So what that means, does it mean he now longers works for Funimation after they had cut their ties, or what This particular "suit" is one Vic filed himself (conspiracy! they conspired and were out to get me! lies! lies and slander!), and has no relevance to w...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"

I'm not aware of anyone who has done a complete translation of the light novel. It would be a lot of work for... well, very little. I know for damn sure we have no intention of doing it. If, however, one of the rights-holders would like to pay for it to be done, I might know a guy or gal or two or t...

General reminder that YouTube-drinking-screamy-man is not Vic's actual incompetent lawyer, and is instead a more different incompetent lawyer, but they're all in bed with each others' payrolls anyway so ultimately whatever it's all kind of a wash of ridiculousness.

This is a perfectly fine conversation to have, and there are tons of valid points to bring up. Let us at Kanzenshuu neither be the first nor last to tell you that Dragon Ball (along with its author and production staff) is(/are) not without basis for criticism. The topic creator, however, flat-out a...

Oh, I don't know.
I've never seen this dubbed with the replacement music before.

I'm gonna need a few minutes here. On, like, multiple levels.

Just. Fucking. What. Wow.

Re: Did Dragon Ball sleep on utilizing an angry Goku?

Yeah, the Tambourine thing comes to mind. But I also think to Gohan after he turns Super Saiyan 2 (which you certainly addressed), and how he not just wants to get revenge and punish Cell, but seems to actively relish in dishing it out. I got the impression that even Goku is a little taken aback by ...

I swear if I collect all 10 of these parts only for FUNi to announce "season sets", I will...uh...be less than pleased. ... This is undoubtedly going to happen, though, and shouldn't be any kind of surprise! It probably won't be announced the instant box 10 comes out, or even a couple months down t...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I was wondering how it comes Manga Volumes by Viz release around every 6 months? For instance, DBS Volume 4 released around 6 months earlier on Amazon than DBS Volume 5. And that has been going on consistently so for the past few years. With around 4-6 months between each volume’s release. Is it re...

Re: Will Toonami survive without new Dragon Ball Content?

We're both right, looks like it aired on all three they partnered with Saban Entertainment (known at the time for shows such as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and X-Men) to distribute their adaptation to Fox, UPN and The WB affiliate stations. It aired on more than even that: it was on local CBS affi...

1995 was a pretty big year for the franchise. What in particular makes you interested in knowing about it? The Dragon Ball manga wrapped up its serialization in Japan that May in the 1995 No. 25 issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump with chapter 519. The Dragon Ball Z television series was still plugging away...

It's extremely unlikely that anyone is going to give you a full translation of multiple pages of Final Bout coverage across multiple issues of V-Jump (some of which is just ads) without you asking any kind of question about them, providing a reason why you're asking, saying which parts you're intere...

Re: Vegito vs Gogeta I

I heard on the dragon ball wikia that it is confirmed that Vegito and Gogeta are evenly matched, the only difference is time limit. And there is a Shonen Jump Issue that supports that claim. Thoughts anyone? This comes from the 1995 No. 28 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump 's "Anime J-Wing" column... ......
