I do find myself wondering these days if Dragon Ball would’ve been better off not getting a revival. I suppose BoG would’ve been made with or without Toriyama’s involvement, and by all accounts, his involvement did greatly improve the film, but maybe that should’ve been the end of it. I hope that story mode expansions are a part of DLC going forward. This game feels like BT1 in terms of launch content.

Right now I'm waiting on the dub to come out. But from the episode summaries Toriyama's world building is super interesting. I'm excited to watch it and can't find all the supposed hate around the series. People seem to be happy that Toriyama's final work is being aired.

Man, idk.. the intro to this game sorta sums up how I feel about it. It’s new, kinda pretty but after a few seconds of excitement I get this feeling of boredom and can’t shake the thought that I’ve done all this a million times before.

Just bought: DragonBall Z Dragonbox Volume 7 DVD. Just one more to go! Getting Dragonbox 4 is going to be tough but I'll manage.

This is beyond awful. 68 is fairly young these days.

I will finish buying the Dragonbox sets and call it a day. Crunchyroll is so far beyond releasing DB properly.

This will be the only Dragonball series I dont buy to own.

I just want them to finish Super.

Trunks had the most impact full debut of anyone in the series. He shows up and smokes the strongest villain in the series up until that point. The man survives a hellish future with almost no one to protect him. His character is fleshed out with detail. Trunks is way more than a jobber of the week.

It's a shame that everyone except Funimation can do a proper release of the franchise. Even Yu Yu Hakusho has received better releases over DragonBall.

I doubt it can be considered a flop. Super has reignited my interest in the franchise. I bought all the Blurays in a heartbeat and can't wait to watch the newest film.

This is extremely good news. The BT series was always my favorite.

I still get enjoyment from the franchise so probably not.

The games will always focus on Z content with DB, the movies, GT, and Super playing a smaller role.
