I haven't watched the series since it aired on tv in the Netherlands.
Don't own any episodes or anything so...
Still got the manga though.

Re: Who exactly is Piccolo Jr. to Piccolo Daimao?
To me Piccolo Jr is his own being. He was just as much a son to Daimao, as his brothers Drum, Piano, and Cymbal. I also believe he originally had his own soul, but Daimao "fused" his soul with it when he died. This way it would make sense for Piccolo Daimao's part to be dominant in Piccolo...

Re: The Dragonballs themselves
If I remember correctly, Yajirobe actually drilled holes in his Dragonball and turned it into a necklace.
So yeah, Dragonballs are durable but not indestructable.

Re: The Earthlings' Training at Kaio's
Wow really? You see, I was introduced to the series through the dubbed anime (about 10 years ago). So not only is my memory very rusty, I'm also not always sure what was/wasn't filler. I got a big portion of the manga in some crappy pocket format. And I'm now collecting the Dutch Kanzenban releases,...

Re: The Earthlings Training at Kaio's
Ah, I see.
I'm familiar with the image but never knew it was a panel cover, I don't own those volumes yet.
So, that's all the info we get from the manga as far as their training in the afterlife is concerned?

The Earthlings' Training at Kaio's
In the anime, we see Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamcha and Chaozu train on Kaio's planet.
My question is, was this just a scenario they came up with for filler?
Or is it a take on something that's mentioned in the manga?
Did these five individuals ever speak of their time in the afterlife?

Re: Is DBO an official and canon continuation of DB manga?
But the canonicity doesn´t depend on what the fans think. If Toriyama has enabled DB manga continues in the form of game that's what counts. Tori don´t need to specify it. And our opinion does not matter. If Akira Toriyama has allowed and it is official, is canon. Automatically. Want us or not. We ...

Re: Is DBO an official and canon continuation of DB manga?
Does an official canon even exist?
I always thought is was something of personal preferences that is up to the individual.
Or is that just me not understanding the term canon?

Ah man.
Me with Z-fighter powers? That won't end well.
Instead of a superhero I would turn into a superdouchebag.
I would become so evil that the only gain I would have from the Majin spell is a kickass tatoo on my head.

Re: Selfish Z-Warriors
Of course, it was just an excuse on Goku's part to shut Bulma up (because there is some truth to it at least). But now that I think about it a bit more. They didn't even need to kill Gero, if they found his lab they could still destroy his computer and stuff. So yeah in conclusion, they are all a bu...

Re: Selfish Z-Warriors
Well in the case of Gero, Goku did say something along the lines of they shouldn't kill a guy for a crime he didn't commit yet.
So that's fair enough.
All other cases were indeed selfish, but hey...come oooon. :p

Re: What are the dumbest ASSumptions you've made about DB?
When Z finished airing in the Netherlands I was collecting Dragonball pogs. I knew there was a story before Z and that the Budokai Tenkaichi played a big role in it. So when I saw a pog with Satan holding a championsbelt in the air I assumed he was one of the villains in Dragonball. He just looked a...

He styled his hair with some hairgel before facing Buu.
You can't fight the embodiment of evil with messie hair and a weird outfit.

I guess so.
Well goes too show I can't trust my eyes without glasses after midnight.
Well I'm still going to restore the image to a better resolution cause I still think it's a cool pose.
Thanks guys!

Re: Where is this Yamcha image from?
Hmm, really, fan art huh? It just looks so old it gave me some sort of a nostalgic feeling, the one I get when looking at old official works. Also no name of the creator or something? Cause I'm trying to fix the little pic up from scratch to get a bigger more smooth picture. It's probably a long sho...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This is how I think Universe #9 went down. Dragonball: -It starts with Kuririn meeting Roshi and starts his training. Eventually Bulma arrives for Roshi's Dragonball and for training Kuririn joins her as bodyguard. This way the rest of the Z-Warriors meet like in the main universe. -Piccolo is succe...
