Cool, thanks so much all. I figured VIZ would stick with their current version but I thought if anyone had heard anything concrete it would be you guys.

The whole thing is in Japanese but if you type dragonball in the search bar on the left there are like 20 pages of clothing, jewelry, accessories....amazing stuff.

Toei didn't give THEM the home release rights, they gave it to FUNimation, who in turn gave it to Kidmark as back in 1995 they were too small to do their own releases, so it was outsourced. Unfortunatly, they didn't have the presence of mind to have a contract end date like they did with the DBZ ...

I heard they were absorbed into Lionsgate from what I've read....though take that for what it's worth 'cause the fact I'm asking the question means I don't know much.

Does anyone know if funimation is any closer to acquiring rights for a North American release of the first 13 episodes? I have all of the 2 disc sets and the Saga of goku dubbed as well as a PAL madman disc of the first 13 uncut but I was looking for some "complete, fully legal, plays on everything ...
