Hmm... I'm trying to decide if the figure I bought in Japan last year is from the same line as those...

It has Goku in his costume from Yardrat sitting atop his spacepod.

Is it from the same series? I notice all yours are sitting atop a dragonball...

If they're gonna add any sort of characters from DB, why not Android 8? They have every other android in there it seems, and Android 8 might actually have a move list unlike some of the characters they can put it that'd just have some random weak-ass attacks (*cough* Muten Roshi *cough*).

He's referring to the additional Freeza in his hoverchair, etc. skins, I believe.

I'd also like to see some pics of them, as the DBZonPS2 forums still have not yet processed my registration. It's only been 2 weeks, maybe I should give them some time. :?

I'm 100% satisfied with my R1 Funimation DVDs. I suppose the only reason I would ever even possibly think of picking up the Japanese Dragonboxes would be if I won the lottery and had nothing else to spend my money on. If that makes me a passive fan then so be it. I just don't see the reason to pick ...

Did you read everything there? No, which was why you weren't supposed to find it. Had you gone through the rules, it would have been found at the bottom of the page. I've never read the rule. You heard me. Nor do I plan on it. I'm fairly confident of my abilities to write correctly and not act like...

Ah. Sonofabitch.

You may want to put some other language in that link to signal its nature of linking to the forums. Without you blatantly pointing me to it, I probably wouldn't have discovered it for a while.

Hmm... I never really felt any distaste for the American covers until I saw the rest of the worlds'. Budokai - By far the U.K.'s version. The U.S.'s is pretty bad, although the Japan one is cool in its simplicity. Budokai 2 - I like the U.S.'s quite a bit, although the German one is interesting with...

Also, never expect for anymore than 20 episodes to be included on any single release, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, or anything else. I would have said 3 epiosdes, but Dragonball was released decently in 2-disc sets. Even though it's completely possible to fit half of DBZ on a Blu-Ray disc doesn't mean it'll hap...

So what happened to the link to the forums?

Either Firefox is simply deleting links from webpages (of course this would be the only one), the link to the forums seems to be missing from http://www.daizex.com/interaction/board/.

Great, I'll have to waste another $30 to buy the starter set to pay for some figure I don't want. The box, yes, the figure, no.

I'm assuming the same thing's going to happen to the Namek saga sets as well.

Ugh, how about giving us some special features instead.

Neko Majin. That is all. Well, when I was over in Japan I had the opportunity to pick up this, Dragonball Forever , and the something that's simply titled Dragonball Z . Of course I have no freaking clue how to read Japanese (aside from the few bits and pieces of Kanji I picked up and the Katakana ...

From what I recall without revealing too much about the plot or give spoilers, Paikuhan slings a lot of curses and insults at one point.

Well, it all comes down to OAR, so I suppose having the movies in widescreen does make some sense. I just get so upset at people who want to fill up their widescreen TVs as much as possible, even though the OAR of a film might be 2.35:1. Lion's Gate has been fucking with the public as of recent by r...

Sorry, R2 is ordered, and as I have a widescreen TV and what not, it works out better for me. If I were to buy FUNimation's disc (which I can assure you, if it's like the other movies, well, the quality isn't going to be Top-notch. It could be better), and I'd have to zoom in for it to fit on my wi...

That's probably what I'm thinking of... it's been a while since I've watched those episodes as well. Oddly enough I have all of them on DVD, I'm just too damn busy to find time to watch them all through.

Stupid law school... taking up too much of my DBZ watching time.

Something cut from Vol. 7: Back from the Dead?

Hey there, I picked up the new Ultimate Uncut Volume at Best Buy on Tuesday (apparently they had it out early). As I was watching the final episode last night, I noticed something sort of odd. Now, it's been a loooooong time since I watched these original episodes, and the only time I ever has was w...

DeepDiscount will probably have it for around $15 and change, but I'm probably going to hold off until June when they have their semi-annual 20% off sale (depending on my finances at that point, I guess).

I would say I have you beat there, but with all the conversions down to slim alphas, I'm not so sure. How many titles do you currently have? According to DVDaf (where my collection is archived) I'm up to 613 (although I think that may not be quite accurate). After my exams this week I'll try to take...

Well, I'm only sorta wondering if Lion's Gate even knows they own the freakin' things. There're so few episodes that it's possible they don't even realize they own the damn things.
