Hey OP,
I hope you had fun typing all that. Hopefully it helped you work out some issues. Now, show us on the doll where Funi touched you.
I still prefer the dub. Sorry, not sorry.

Re: So is Tarble now non-canonical?
Tarble is mentioned in two movies that, unlike the older crop of movies, are in continuity. That makes him "canon," even if he's never actually appeared again. A far more egregious case of "out of sight, out of mind" is Tights. Bulma has been a main character since the very beginning of the saga, an...

Re: So is Tarble now non-canonical?
I'm not much for canon debates. The franchise has always had a "made-up-on-the-fly" quality to it that precludes there being any true canon that doesn't ignore massive swaths of story from various media. Regarding author comments: I don't consider something "true" just because the author said it aft...

Re: Why are they retconning the original Bardock special? Now it's no longer canon?
A lot of fans were quick to embrace nonsense like Yamoshi and S-cells, as a display of fealty to the mighty Toriyama. Just Saiyan. Will this be a step too far? By the time the movie comes out, I doubt it. The reason this trailer is such an info dump is a pragmatic one: Let the fans get used to it. L...

Re: Why are they retconning the original Bardock special? Now it's no longer canon?
It's always been fairly well accepted that while the movies aren't canon, the Bardock and Trunks specials are (they don't contradict anything, and Toriyama apparently "liked" them). It's just a lesson: This fanbase has been obsessed with "canon" for as long as I can remember. But it was all for noug...

I was just going to say that Vegeta is an alpha male, Goku is not, but then I see that modern political bullshit has completely mucked-up the definitions of things.

Re: Why does it seem that Gogeta has way more fans than Vegetto?
I think fans carried the torch for Gogeta for two reasons. One, power counts for a lot, and SS4 Gogeta was top dog pre-Super. Second, until the Potara retcon, Vegito was a permanent fusion. So Gogeta was much more likely to appear again someday.

Re: Why didn't Roshi train to prepare for the Saiyans?
In the Saiyan Saga, Roshi believed he had reached his limit. In the intervening years, he saw the others (particularly Goku) surpass their own limits time and again. So he realized he was wrong, and resumed training. This is explicitly stated during the ToP. It's not a retcon, a plothole, or inconsi...

Re: Broly, Kanba and Shallot
That's something I've always found juvenile, fanboy-ish, and off-putting about DB fandom: People making up their own names for things. If you speak / write in English, use the official English names. No "Beers," "Blooma," or "Gokou." I personally prefer "Freeza" to Frieza, but I don't own the charac...

Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
I know this is just a short promotional throwaway, but I hope we get some explanation of who Cumber is, where he comes from, and how he can be so absurdly strong (fighting on par with SSB Kaioken Vegito in base?). I have a theory, that at some point Cumber was supposed to be Broly. But since Broly i...

Re: So how did the cell juniors survive?
I don't care for the idea myself. It seems inconsistent that those nasty little buggers would go so long without committing mayhem, and getting themselves noticed. But I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over it. It seems Cell engineered them to remain childlike minions, and to never reach any...

No. Regardless of how strong he may be, Gohan would find a way to f**k it up like he always does. Buu's regen, stamina, and magical abilities would win the day.

Well hopefully the DBS Movie gets some commercials on Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and maybe other channels and in the trailer they can mention that it takes place after the T.o.P. So then people know it will have spoilers. We know very little about the movie, but it may not need to address any spe...

Seriously man? https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/1002075490956427264 Fu can use time magic like Towa and pretty much every demon. The story is quite rushed so there's no time to ask questions. He figures out his own form of Hakai energy, and becomes God of Destruction Frieza. After the beating he took from GoD Toppo, that would make sense.

Re: Official "Super DB Heroes 2018 Promotional Anime" Discussion Thread
A lot of WTF? Why is Mai on Beerus' planet? How can this Fu guy just show up there, with no surprise from anybody? Why would Goku and Vegeta just follow him, without asking Mai if he's really a friend of Trunks? Neither Goku nor Vegeta have any questions about SS4? It would be easier to overlook all...

If he knew the future, he shouldn't be scared shitless when Zamasu shows up and threatens him.Polyphase Avatron wrote:But it wouldn't assure that he could never possibly be caught unless Zuno could know the future.
And if he knew the future, someone should have asked him how to win the ToP.
