DBS Broly sold 64,259 copies (on Blu-Ray and DVD) in its first week on sale in Japan.
Go Broly! Go!

I'm so hesitant to buy the Blu-Ray now, I have this feeling an extended cut will come out as time goes on.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

Well, they did mention the direction they want to go in. They said “Broly was excessively powerful, so we think things will head in a completely different direction next time around.” Which i hope that means its more plot and story driven. This is what Toriyama must of meant by next work. Another m...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

So it turns out that even the producers have their limits when it comes to the "bigger and badder" modus operandi of Dragon Ball. Unfortunately, Dragon Ball has been like that since its inception. The only debatable exception might be the transition from the RRA arc to the Baba Tournament arc where...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

https://twitter.com/goreshx/status/1135896751100088321?s=21 I'm not surprised that TOEI doesn't think it can put as much quality production into this upcoming movie like they did with Broly. The staffing and casting they had for Broly raised the bar too much for them. It was so good they don't think...

Gohan only "rivaled" Blue Goku before the TOP. During the TOP Gohan couldn't bust a grape against Toppo. Whom Blue Vegeta was battling evenly. I think we can legitimately define Gohan's power as noticeably below Blue at the time of the TOP. Not to mention,a Blue Goku that kept sandbagging the whole...

I bet the Moro saga from the Manga will get adapted into a movie.
Depending on when the movie comes out [doesn't seem soon] I wouldn't be surprised if this supposed new movie continues from the Moro arc [As well as the arc after Moro. Depending on time frame].

Re: Between Goku, Vegeta & Gohan Who Do You Think Has Received The Most Amount Of Undeserved Power-Ups/Transformations?

Who says foreshadowing has to be necessary for it to be "good" (if that's what you're implying here?)? There are no set guidelines like that. Just because the original Super Saiyan was "foreshadowed" (more like directly telegraphed) doesn't mean everything else has to be or should be. Super Saiyan ...

Re: Does DBS Have Replay Value Comparable To DB/DBZ?

No. I haven't re watched DB Super scenes like I did and do DB/DBZ. There is something about DBZ's tension, fluid animation, sound effects and score that just hard to still deny.

That was before he absorbed Goku and Vegeta’s energy though. He also increased his battle power when he got younger and during his Dragon Ball hunt. Considering that, could his battle power be lower than SSBlue by the time he fights Boo?
It's literally an unknown at that point.

Wow, a lot of bias going on here. It's desperation/wishful thinking from one side who is posting any supposed link that says Super is going to be a revealed according to their "Japanese sources." On the other side we have people trying to protect you tubers rep due to their inaccuracy, Then we even ...

Glad it wasn't just me catching that Muuri thing, I figured it couldn't be, especially here of all places. Unless it is a mistake (which if it is, that's a...pretty big one...), the only thing I can figure is that yeah, the kid is now the 'god/guardian' of Namek. Maybe Cranberry threatened to kill ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Even in the anime Beerus and Quitela are shown to have history. There is never any mention with Beerus and Belmond. Belmond is never factored in the equation in either anime or manga as one of the strongest.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

I disagree. Sidra managed to block a blast from Beerus, powerful enough to perhaps take out or at least seriously damage a fellow GoD, with his barrier is if it were nothing. Rummush's roar paralysed every single GoD in the arena, Beerus included. Belmod's card trick damaged everyone as well. It wa...

The only canon fact we have in power comparison among the gods is that Beerus and Quitela were fighting for the throne of strongest. Everyone else is lower than them. I disagree. Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Youtubers are a very different slice of the Dragonball fandom than Kanzenshuu (in theory). Youtube generally cares about "HYPE" and "epic fightz and momentz"; Kanzenshuu supposedly is for more informed discussion. There's overlap for sure, but these are the general differences. It’s fine to say why...
