I would MUCH rather see a totally new series with new characters (maybe some afterlife characters that return). No SSJ (the saiya-jins are EXTINCT people), less power, more unique and innovative techniques, same world/universe. Transformations? Perhaps. Magic-using protagonists that also use ki? Now...

I bet not many of you know about this unlicensed NES game...
It's called Dragon Ball Z 5 (C) in GoodNES nomenclature. It's a DBZ-themed beat-em-up! (made by Nex Soft, some Chinese unlicensed game maker) Some of the sprites can be a bit wierd (in fact, some of them look like Chinese warriors from the Han era or something), but it's playable. I got it at Planet...

That's right, VegettoEX. The ROM isn't available from this page. Most fan translators just distribute patches and leave it to the people who want to use it to find the ROM themselves. Oh, one more thing. All the NES emulators out there except for fwNES don't support the custom save RAM Bandai used f...

DBZ1 NES: Attack of the Saiya-jins completely fan translated
http://www.rpgclassics.com/subsites/twit/dbz1/dbz1.html Wow, I've been waiting for this for a while, and now it's come! A good, complete fan translation with a script that's both uncut and true to the original! This page shows screenshots of the intro and the battle system, and the translation patch...

Recognizing Ki Signatures
Something has me confused. You know how the characters often can recognize each other from afar by their ki signatures? Well, there are also times when they don't recognize each other. I can think of Piccolo fusing with Nail...not surprised the unique ki signature got altered. But what about Gohan's...

Heh. I think Tenshinhan could've used his Shiyoken technique to regrow his arm if he had survived the fight against the saiya-jins. I mean, he can grow new arms with that technique, it actually wouldn't be that much of a stretch to use that technique to replace a lost one. Hell, he should've used Sh...

Question about the Piccolo/Kami recombination and DBs...
Why is it that Piccolo after recombining with Kami couldn't revive the Dragon Balls? He's supposed to have all of Kami's powers as well. Doesn't make any sense to me...any thoughts on how to explain this, seeing as Akira Toriyama didn't?

Anyone like Dragon Ball message board RPGs?
I apologize if I put this in the wrong forum or if this sort of topic isn't allowed at all. Wasn't sure where to post this, so I decided to put it here. Anyway, I'm relaunching my message board RPG. I put time and thought into developing the gameplay system for this RPG, taking bits and pieces from ...

Undocumented character buildup in Challenge/Z Battle modes?
I *THINK* there is a build-up thingy when you use a character and fight in Z Battle or Challenge Mode. Not totally certain of this, but I think my Kuririn was doing more damage and taking less after I used him in Z Battle a number of times. Anyone know what that red box's text says, the one that pop...

Actually, there were FOUR NES DBZ RPGs using the card system you've seen in Legend of the Super Saiya-jin for SNES. The last two came out after the SNES game, and altered the card system somewhat to have various effects based on an icon on one corner, such as healing, freezing enemies, changing your...

GamePro isn't very smart, but at least they smelled it...
http://www.bandaigames.com/news/news_019.html Nowhere does this mention anything about Dragon Ball. But this is the way I see it. If Bandai decided to start releasing its Dragon Ball games in North America itself, there's not a damn thing FUNi or Atari can do about it aside from bribing a.k.a. "...

Would this section include fangames/RPGs/MU*s based off DB?
Just wondering. Or is this official games only? Should there be a different forum for unofficial DB games?
