Yeah, if there's one thing the late 80s/early 90s American Dragonball fandom was known for, it was accurate and full translations of the series in its entirety.

Dragonball ended in 1995. There's really no need to treat all these endless modern attempts to milk it even further as more than just that.

Star Wars and (Dragonball) are good examples of major franchises that peaked and started slowing down.

No, not really, it's a pun.
His name is Otokosky, using the slavic name ending "-sky" and punning off the fact that it sounds like "suki". It's pretty clever and pretty funny.

It is, and they've taken some pretty big scissors to certain bits of dialogue. Sometimes so badly the rewritten line doesn't even make sense.

you might even want to go with a different translation for "martial arts" since it's not based on budō here, but I see "martial arts" as a regular enough translation of kakutō ... I dunno, maybe they're actually wrestlers, but it's not really that important.
