Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread
My only question is how much of the contents it will have in the story mode. As long as it's over 40-50 hours worth of gameplay, I should be good, even if Goku is the only playable character. The fact that they pushed the release date could indicate how much they are putting into the game. I hope. I...

Piccolo's arm is still there when firing Makankosappo, while Ten is shown with broken arm. The consistency is important.

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread
Am I expecting too much to think that they are going to put the level barrier on the entrances and interactions with evil henchmen and beat them up? Edit: Also, I'm hoping they don't just limit themselves to strictly follow the manga. It's better to expand the arcs to improve the experience. Like, f...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread
Based on the screen shots Gyt posted, it seems we will also have level-ups. That means we need to grind out in order to advance the story. I wonder if we will have contents similar to Legacy of Goku series that we can keep ourselves busy when not focusing on main quests. I just hope for the story mo...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread
They just released more than ten minutes' worth of gameplay footage. https://youtu.be/pwgIngSDUHY Looks to be pretty interesting. It looks like a little bit mixture of Legacy of Goku and Xenoverse. I do wonder if it's only going to be two arcs or if they are going to cram the entire story in one game.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" - Animation Hub [Updated: 20/07]
A good director will employ strong storyboard, music placements, direction of voice acting, use of color choices, etc. Well directed means Nagamine utilizes the resources to the fullest. Tadayoshi Yamamuro failed to fulfill the resources properly when he directed Resurrection F.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" - Animation Hub
Your explanation made zero sense. Shintani was chosen to be the character designer picked by Toriyama through auctions. They both have been exchanged back and forth with designs for a while before revealing a teaser poster. Takahashi has absolutely nothing to do with this as this has been done a yea...

Re: Official "DB 2018 Movie" Discussion Thread
Maybe Freeza's wish rewrites the entire past 20-odd in-universe years since his arc first began OR unwrites them altogether and everyone wakes up and it's 20 years ago? Maybe Goku wakes up in this replaced unwound world and only he and Freeza remember the old timeline? Perhaps this is what will hap...

Re: Official "DB 2018 Movie" Discussion Thread
Apparently Tatsuya Nagamine will be the director of the film and Shintani Naohiro will be the newest character designer. That means no Tadayoshi Yamamuro to design the characters. He still can be an animation supervisor, though. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/358654838403366922/42287828218...

2018 Dragon Ball Film
Here's the quote from Toei USA website : Dragon Ball’s 20th feature film has been revealed! Today, news of the film was announced at Jump Festa 2018 in Japan. The film is currently in production, which will serve as a commemoration for decades of legendary titles. Since 1986, the series has introdu...

Re: New movie announced for December 2018!
If it's finally a Vegeta and Gokû field trip to Planet Salad, then hooray! Though if this is just a lore movie about Yamoshi I'll be skipping it. I don't mean to sound a bit condescending, but why should DB be always the central focus on Goku and Vegeta, when there are a lot of lores that could be ...

Hiromi Tsuru, Bulma's voice actor, has passed away.
The legendary voice actress Hiromi Tsuru has unexpectedly passed away. She was famous as a voice actress for Bulma since the original Dragon Ball began running in 1986. This is very heartbreaking news. Her last appearance as Bulma was Episode #96 of Dragon Ball Super just before the Tournament of Po...

Should Vegetto Return?
It'd be nice if he comes back. It would be a good opportunity for the gods to be shocked at Vegetto's overwhelming powers as a SSj Blue. It would give Jiren a really tough fight. Do you think he should be back?

MasakoX isn't even official, so the comparison is irrelevant. Sorry, but TFS has no place in an official way.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 100
Just to be clear on something here, the schedule still sucks as far as I'm concerned. Three animation supervisors, in addition to second key animators having to clean up the rushed gengas, tell a different story.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 100
Yamamuro's there in the special. He made some corrections. I haven't watched it but hopefully he did some uncredited key animation.
He soloed the new ending, so that may have taken his time.
Edit: What Ajay said.
