Trust me hon, there are a lot of Dragonball fans who can't stand One Piece. Just because Toriyama likes the show doesn't mean we have to.

I don't like One Piece b/c Toriyama likes it. That is just a lame excuse ...

DBZ is the show with the most powerful fighters, but it doesn't have much original attacks. I mean original in super crazy, goofy and funny, and One Piece got that. Both fight scenes are good in their own way.

I love both of them, and I never heard of a DBZ fan who didn't like One Piece Especially with the OP anime with the same sounds as from DBZ. I remember first watching it, episode 1, Alvida shooting with the cannons, and I thought *OMG there comes ki blasts out of the cannons*

I still watch it every now and then, but only out of sheer curiosity of the handling of certain scenes.

The same for me. It was awful how some of the scenes were re-drawn.
And every time I think to give it another chance, Kai fails and fails ...
