I made a live-reaction video about Toriyama's death with the intention of helping bring catharsis to other fans.

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country
Thanks, Vegard. Sorry to hear about the low-quality releases in Norway. It must be frustrating that they change the names, but at least the overall trend is improving. That last bit about the F-bombs made me laugh. Reminds me of the American fan-subs from the late '90s where they added a lot of curs...

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country
Thank you, Son Gokuu. I've seen a lot of debate from fans in Spain about their releases. It seems like there is confusion or misinformation surrounding the subject. For example, my translator, Antonio (MrKaytos), was given a hard time on his social media recently regarding a statement he made about ...

Re: Derek Padula's Books Discussion
Thanks for the praise! The Asperger's idea was put on the back burner of my back burner. There are so many projects I've never been able to see through due to a lack of resources. I could interview Ken Morrison. I'm friends with the Ocean voice actors, and I could ask them to get me in touch with Ke...

Thank you for sharing that GT clip. It's interesting to watch the different dub adaptations.
I appreciate everyone's support with filling in missing info. There's so much out there I didn't grow up with.

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country
Thank you to everyone who has provided updates. I need to hire someone to reorganize this info for me because I don't have the time to do so myself with my current book projects. I'd like to reformat the history for each country into an easy-to-understand and chronological order, and then combine al...

Re: Hong Kong Comics Inspired Dragon Ball? - An in-depth debunk of the popular theory
Thanks for sharing my article here. I enjoy seeing a lively conversation about something I wrote, even when it's 5 years old. I have no problem with Kunzait's argument about Wuxia inspiring Dragon Ball, nor with anything he's said in this thread. I'm impressed by his breadth of knowledge and ability...

Re: Harmony Gold Dub Reconstruction [[DONE!!]]
Great. I intend to create a Video section on my site soon, and I'll make a HG Dub page for the remasters and the originals, with the proper credit and a link to the pdf.

Re: Harmony Gold Dub Reconstruction [[DONE!!]]
Yes, I really enjoyed watching it. The voice acting is top-notch, especially with the odd censorship and script changes adding a charm to it. And it's a pleasure to watch it without any visual or audio artifacts. You guys did such a good job. A tremendous effort! Is it okay for me to host these vide...

Re: Harmony Gold Dub Reconstruction [[DONE!!]]
Yes, I wrote an article about the History of the Harmony Gold Dub. It reveals where the Harmony Gold dub came from, who was involved in its production, and how hard myself and a few other anime fans here at Kanz worked to recover the episodes. Took over a decade of effort!

Re: Akira Toriyama on Saiyan Hairstyles - Lost Article Translated
That's something to think about. I suppose hair could get in the way during battle, or be pulled on, or matted down with blood after a fight. But then Raditz and Super Saiyan 3 come to mind. Perhaps Raditz was an outlier, and of course, Super Saiyan in general is an anomaly thought ot be legend, as ...

Re: Italian Edition of Dragon Ball Z "It's Over 9,000!" Book
Thanks, macho_man! Yes, the hardcover edition will be coming soon. I will begin the translation of Dragon Ball Culture Volume 1 after I've made my money back on the production of "It's Over 9,000!" This may take a few months. Ideally, it will be out in time for next November and December s...

Re: Akira Toriyama on Saiyan Hairstyles - Lost Article Translated
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I edited those sections and updated the article. First, about the fan theory that 'hair stops growing after a certain point.' Second, to remove the word canonical and mention Nappa's hair in the flashback in Broly . I don't know if anybody aside from Toriyama a...

Akira Toriyama on Saiyan Hairstyles - Lost Article Translated
‘Nappa isn’t bald,’ says Akira Toriyama! Read my exclusive translation of an article that talks about the origin of Saiyan hairstyles: https://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/dragon-world/akira-toriyama-says-nappa-isnt-bald/ Toriyama also talks about how Saiyan hair grows, and on gender equality in Saiy...

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country
I do know a bit about the Arabic dub from what fans and voice actors have told me. For example, I spoke with Sean Schemmel about it within the last year. He said Dragon Ball Z is huge in the Middle East, and they invited him to a convention there to be a celebrity guest. He was amazed by how many fa...
