Kanzenshuu

The problem, of course, is that Iyoku Akio seems to suck as a producer. We'll see how that unfolds now that he can't get Toriyama involved in micromanaging story and character stuff, though. Dragon Ball: The Galactic Patrol is going to be the first real test of a post-Toriyama landscape.

I'm not ...

I think the criticism of Goku from the Tournament of Power arc should have just been played fully sincerely and as the thesis statement of the arc. Goku is continuously a major danger to lives and this has now culminated in his actions threatening the lives of entire universes. The arc should have ...

Also in Toriyama’s notes and then inherited by toyotaro’s own manga Goku black (Zamasu) is depicted as a golden haired SSJ1 infused with divine energy holding his own against god forms

Minor correction, for what it's worth: Manga Black holding his own against Blue as a normal Super Saiyan is ...

Notably I don't think there were any scenes of Super Saiyan Goku vs. Beerus this time? Is it possible they did away with all of them in favor of ending the fight in SSG a la the manga?

At this point impossible in my view. Also, I'm pretty it is SSJ Goku in this shot
https://i.imgur.com ...

If that SSG shot was indeed a change to the "F" arc, I'm curious to see if this follows suit with the manga and undoes the movies' God-power absorption that all later Super content seems to have ignored. I was kind of hoping this would give us the unseen "manga 'F'" storyline, and...it might?

You ...

At the Genkidamatsuri event, they revealed the Beerus arc. Games Battle Hour they revealed the Gold Freeza arc. Now maybe on Comic-con they'll reveal the Champa arc. One New Arc revealed per-event lol. Just a guess though.

Anyway about what Geekdom said, I think it's crazy if the Champa arc ...

I'm pretty sure if you tally up known worlds with sentient life in the series you do indeed end up with well under 28, but it throws so many question marks into how Freeza's business works while providing next to no benefit to the series that it's probably pound for pound the worst line of the ...

I have memories of people thinking for years and years that Ultimate, Mystic considering the times, was a permanent upgrade and pretty much just Gohan's new default base form. I particularly remember how people used to bring up how on EoZ Gohan's eyes were fully lined-up.
I even remember how ...

Tite Kubo is returning to Weekly Shonen Jump for a new Bleach arc. Considering that One Piece may be over by the end of the decade, is it unreasonable to expect Dragon Ball may be moved to their primary magazine to fill in the gap left behind by Oda ? Considering that Jump has been struggling this ...

For at least another film and manga arc, it's very believable/has been strongly indicated that they were already in ideation processes with Toriyama.

Beyond that, I think it gets pretty tenuous, unless they just start applying it to previously discussed and dropped concepts, mine old sketches, etc ...

Daima 's issues run deeper than its climax, though that certainly doesn't help anything.

Remove the (inconsequential, which is a problem) Super Saiyan 4 from the story, and you still have a more weakly paced and characterized, pointlessly overcrowded version of a fun party adventure story Toriyama ...

Who is the strongest Z character DBS Piccolo (pre SH) can defeat? Manga and anime.

Manga: I agree with others keeping him below Cell at his strongest, though there's admittedly some ambiguity in his Moro arc team-ups with Gohan.

Precisely because they're ambiguous though, I'm not intended to ...

I think it's genuinely successfully presented as a mix of things.

The immediate impetus is Vegeta's killing spree, and that's the reason Goku gives us. But I think it's also presented as more the final straw that prompts Goku to understand just how much the fight means to Vegeta and to admit to ...

Holy thread bump!

Is the goal to win? Then with even strength you're just looking for skill, ingenuity, and major hax, right?

1. Goku
2. Boo
3. Dabra
4. Hit
5. Moro

Baby is tempting but overlaps pretty heavily with Boo. Botamo is also tempting; I suppose it would depend on whether there are ring ...

If they're doing whole new cuts, it's honestly not unthinkable that they just go ham on one or two episodes to redo chunks of the battle for "F"—both for better visuals and to align with the manga's lack of God absorption if taking that route (SSG Goku vs. Freeza?).

I don't know that they would ...

An incredibly recognizable, distinctive voice that was always a delight as Boo and in other roles.

Horri-bull news.

I feel like that's looking at it the wrong way.

I don't think the logic was "We need to remake part of DB." I think it was, "We need to adapt the remaining Super arcs, and it's a hard sell to trot out Season 6 of a series that ended nearly a decade ago without bringing people back on board. We have ...

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is Dragon Ball Super: Beerus a remake, a remaster, or a reboot? I tend to lean myself towards either a remake or a reboot, but I'm confused about which one since none of the trailers mention "remake", making me assume this is a reboot. And I don't see Dragon ...

I don't know why people are taking this in bad faith. The Moro arc adaptation is more than a year out, and as a seasonal production aiming for high quality (if Daima set a precedent), it wasn't coming any faster.

Recutting Super 2015 makes use of the gap in time while building hype without ...

I can't say that I like the idea of an enhanced version but I hope they don't treat each arc as a different series because in the end we'll have too many different series and as a result the distribution will be quite complicated.

It's the same thing Demon Slayer did. Per-arc subtitles are in ...
