Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"
I had this real crazy dream last night that I was watching the new Broly movie and Broly cuts Goku in half by his torso. In that instantaneous moment, Goku's upper half uses Shunkan Idō to teleport to Korin's Tower, grab a Senzu, teleport back and reattach his torso while eating it. I think this ...

Re: Old Viz Graphic Novels
I wasn't aware there were Dragon Ball volumes before the ones with SJ on them.
But I guess I wouldn't if they've been out of circulation for so long.
Oh yeah, Viz first published the manga starting from the end of the 90s IIRC in monthly "comic book" form, several years before they launched the ...

Re: Old Viz Graphic Novels
Just went back and checked with an old episode of the podcast (episode 97). I almost forgot they actually addressed this.

Old Viz Graphic Novels
Does anybody know if there are any major differences between the different editions of the old Viz graphic novels for Dragon Ball and DBZ?
I have a 6th edition of Dragon Ball Vol.1(1 of 42) from the old printing, but wonder if there were any significant changes from its 1st edition when it was ...

Re: How much would you pay for the complete series of GT?
As for the compression, I still maintain that issue is overblown, but if it really bothers you, you could just collect the Madman GT singles instead.
The compression never really bothered me too much and collecting the FUNi GT DVDs was hard enough because they used -tion titles than use "Vol ...

Re: How much would you pay for the complete series of GT?
So, as a result, I managed to score the season 1 and season 2 boxset both new/sealed for $22 in total on eBay(shipping included). Anyway, thanks everyone for your feedback!

Re: How much would you pay for the complete series of GT?
Is $16.99 the lowest anyone found for this set? Did anybody find it around $10-$15?

Re: How much would you pay for the complete series of GT?
Depends.
If the DVDs used the high-quality stereo audio masters that Toei are known to have had all along, probably like £30 or £40.
If the DVDs included the Blue Water dub, probably about £40 or £50.
For neither of these things, probably £10 or £15.
I'm actually looking at the U.S. release ...

How much would you pay for the complete series of GT?
Hello,
I don't usually write on these forums, but I figured I would get a good consensus about how much to spend on the whole GT series. So, what's the most you would spend on Funimation's GT Complete Series Boxset?

Re: Buying Dragonbox Z 2 from RightStuf
Just got charged on my credit card myself from RightStuf. Let's see if I'll get it by next week. It sucks that some of you will get it earlier than me considering some of you live near the RightStuf HQ. Grr.

Re: Right Stuf Order E-mail
You know, I just checked out my bank account today and it said I was charged $35.99 on my debit card. I guess that means it's on the way.
