Re: Is Dende Responsible for Earth's Hell?

Resurrection 'F' aired in Japan on April 18th, 2015. DB Kai episode 152(the episode with the hell scene) aired May 10th, 2015. Which makes me think that they should not put that scene in the episodes, because they should knew back then that Toriyama decided on different shape of hell. For consisten...

Re: Is Dende Responsible for Earth's Hell?

Kai TFC was a rush job and Toei needed footage to make the episode be a full 23 minutes. Besides, the movie versions of Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' were written by Toriyama to be continuations of the manga, and since we never see hell in the manga, there really isn't a plot hole from the mo...

Re: Why does "my boy" Boo keep getting screwed?

This is me every time I get hyped for my boy Buu doing something and generally when I'm deceived by Toriyama and Toei. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/48/ed/cb/48edcb2625b9b04d805df5c98f37591d.jpg For crying out loud! Why did they even bother with making so many promotional materials ...

Re: Is Dende Responsible for Earth's Hell?

Well, if the God of Earth was the one who determine what kind of Hell people are condemned to...then it would have been Kami who did this to Freeza, not Dende. Dende didn't become God until right before the Cell Games. You are right. But Freeza dies in the Resurrection of F , so Dende might have de...

Re: What's everyone's thoughts on *SPOILER* coming back?

I don't know what shocked me more, the reveal itself or the amount of people saying they're okay with it, some people talking about this like it will redeem Freeza after Resurrection F....but...this goes against his character completely! ^^^^^^ This! I don't know why people are fine with it. Bringi...

Re: What's everyone's thoughts on *SPOILER* coming back?

I really hope this will be a gag episode and Buu will wake up! OMG!!! This ruined my day! *RANT TIME* They hyped Buu in the promotional videos, they even made a video will all fighters including Buu! They put him in the opening, ending and whatnot. I don't buy it and can't believe that the greedy mo...

Re: The New Gods of the Universe Survival Arc Discussion Thread

I think it's better to post here Herms' translation, searching in his Twitter is kind of pain since it's becoming an old thing and it needs to scroll down a lot. @Grimlock You did an amazing job with sorting these tweets!!! :D I really appreciate that. I think this thread should have these informat...

Re: The New Gods of the Universe Survival Arc Discussion Thread

This was already known since Friday. It was discussed in the DB Super announcement thread. This image has some errors but it'll give you an idea. For a better translation see Herms's twitter. Re: The New Gods of the Universe Survival Arc Discussion Thread

I know that this thread was dead since March, but I didn't see a better place to write this and I don't think this is much to be written in special new thread. I don't know if someone posted this, but Toei Animation updated their website with a special section for Universe Survival Arc, which will m...

Re: Favourite moment in DB Super

I've been genuinely waiting for someone to make this topic, since I have feared it would be closed very early  I have many moments, like in DB, DBZ and DBGT, I will surely regularly return to after the series will end. And what's more interesting, most of them are not fights. I picked them beca...

Re: Ever since Super's release, people are very quick to dismiss all criticisms about power level inconsistencies. Why?

I swear, if I had to choose to erase one day from human history it would be the day Akira Toriyama created a concept of a "scouter". For real, I think he just regrets this. That day doomed this franchise and fandom. The days of suspense during battles just ended because a lot of fans are just puttin...

Re: The 28 planets debacle

To my post from yesterday, I'm adding more to the list of inconsistencies or pointless things in the past: FORMER LIST: [spoiler]* No reason for having 5 Kaioshins, 5 Kaios and even Kami for Earth - Kami seems obsolete, unnecessary. * Aliens visiting Earth for the first time and being surprised - He...

Re: The 28 planets debacle

Oh man. I am always the last to complain about something and I prefer to find positive sides about everything, but this "28 planets with civilizations" is the most retarded idea, probably more ridiculous than "Goku not kissing Chi-Chi". Cosmological aspect of Dragon Ball was my favorite part of the ...

Re: The New Gods of the Universe Survival Arc Discussion Thread

I really don't like the lizard-like one. I hope his universe would be defeated first. He gives me goosebumps. Not a fan of the creature from the black lagoon? The black lagoon creature one looks awesome to me ^^ I thought about this one :D [spoiler] http://pre15.deviantart.net/0133/th/pre/i/2017/03...

Re: Kaiō & Kaiōshin of the 12 Universes

Maybe after Majin Buu destroys almost all Kaioshin of the universe 7, Zen'oh or Daishinkan decided to keep only one kaioshin in each universe. Majin Buu born about 5 milion years before the actual story, maybe at that time the universe hierarchy was different, i theorize that Majin Buu was the reas...

Re: Kaiō & Kaiōshin of the 12 Universes

(Gowasu told Zamasu to be ashamed of his actions since he is from Kaishin). That's just a very bad translation from fan-subs. The 'Kaishin' that Gowas was referring was 改心 ("To be reformed" or "correct behavior"), thinking that Zamas actually improved on his ideals. Really? I'm so disappointed then...

Re: The New Gods of the Universe Survival Arc Discussion Thread

I have to say I like the variety among angels. They all seem good to me. Nothing too extraordinary, nothing too boring. I am actually amazed that they decided to introduce fat ones. Whis and Vados seemed like totally flawless. Gods of Destruction are more than I expected. I just love the nods to rea...

Re: Kaiō & Kaiōshin of the 12 Universes

Despite being registered and reading the forum for over 5 years, as well as reading ALL Dragon Ball Super Episode Discussion threads, I decided to finally drop some of my words. I really love Dragon Ball. As much as I like all its aspects, deities, gods, mysticism and adventure was what I liked the ...
