Re: The First PlayStation 4 Game Cometh

I'm laughing so hard.

Battle of Z 2 with Dragon Ball Online character creation/time travel adult quests. Each mission is "go back in time to this event and see if you can save the future." There will be no alternate timelines, it's just how to logically have your generic anime dude (pictured right ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

I played through the entirety of the main story missions and I haven't had that much fun with a Dragon Ball game in years. Seriously, I can only suspect people that don't like this don't have friends to play it with.

All of the negativity in here is toxic and makes me sad. I hope this game sells ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

So I made a rebuttal/debrief video on what exactly Battle of Z is. The entire game's not out yet but I still think this will help explain it to people that are interested and upset about the lack of charging, in-game transformations, and expecting other staples from past iterations of DBZ games ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

The Energy/Genki gauge in the middle top of the screen.

Vita only has 4 sections and PS3/360 has 5

Since it fills up your ki gauge and adds a new ki limit for every section filled up there can't be cross play unless they change it.

Wow I actually didn't notice that. Has this brought up any ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

It's literally that simple, and takes no skill. It punishes the person going on the attack, and makes guard breaking pretty useless considering the options the opponent has on block. If you even attempt to do something like kaioken, you know what i'm going to do? Keep dashing out, so it's really ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

Why are in-game transformations so important to you guys? You know they changed it to balance characters, right? So that all of them can play differently? I know it feels great transforming in battle. Trust me, I was disappointed when the first Budokai Tenkaichi kept you from doing it, but everyone ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

As for Vegetto and Bardock, I'm assuming Namco-Bandai will do what they did with Soul Calibur IV. If you don't remember, the PS3 version got Darth Vader and the 360 got Yoda. After a few months or something the opposite character was available for purchase for both systems. The scary thing was that ...

Re: "DBZ: Battle of Z" (360/PS3/Vita) On-Going Discussion Th

Regardless of this chaospunishment's reputation, you're all devolving to power level comparisons lol. This says nothing about their kit. Krillin is ultimately useless without his heal and unblockable super. Take into consideration that their stats aren't reflective of their moves. I'm anticipating ...

Re: ARDBZ Appreciation Thread

I thoroughly enjoy ARDBZ. The first few episodes before the Buu saga were killer. Kindergarten and Super 13 have been unmatched so far. I really think Gozar shines when the characters do whatever in the own canonical parameters he's set for his "alternate" universe. Piccolo and Celine Dion (Lord ...

Re: Trunks is History

I love the fact that they kept switching terms for the androids, ending on the totally ridiculous "Artificial Cybernoids." It's something that only the fans would get, but it's a nice little nod to all the increasingly stupid arguments and work-arounds for "Jinzouningen."
Heh, I'm glad someone ...
