Re: Question to all Dragon Ball fans in the world ( Translation and language related )

That being said, the translations are pretty consistent throughout the German games, show and manga. They went with Bills here for example, and they painfully go with it in every medium. (Fun fact for that example though: In FighterZ they use Bills during every dialogue, but the name above the heal...

Re: The German DBZ Kai dub

I'm guessing they still use the same awful cast? It's pretty much the same. Gohan was already replaced before the Cell Games and Kaiō-sama's single sentence in this 99th episode was delivered by someone else. (I personally like the Kai cast though) I'm assuming that the Japanese titles will be used...

Re: 4 galaxies officially debunked after episode 41?

EDIT: Here's a quick scan- http://www.daizex.com/misc_stuff/66950_scan.jpg That's 系銀河 or kei ginga , I believe. The above Kanji when put on google translate gives back "Xì yínhé" and translates to “department of galaxy”! That has a totally different meaning from "galactic system". Of course it may ...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '

"On the basis of predominantly positive reviews..." I can't contain my laughter over how they're not even trying to hide their lies. They are not lying. "Real" reviews were predominantly positive. Yes, lots of offending insults have been posted (and are posted right now) on social media, but I woul...

Re: The German DBZ Kai dub

They may not have necessarily received the Japanese footage. I mean, they may have, don't get me wrong, but there is another possible explanation. In FUNimation's home video release of Kai , the first episode still has the original Japanese show title (and Japanese text), "Dragon Ball Kai," only to...

It's available on DVD and Blu-ray and is broadcasted by German free-to-air TV channel ProSieben MAXX. Recently aired episodes are also available for free on the channel's website (but I think they can only be accessed with German, Austrian or Swiss ip addresses)

Re: The German DBZ Kai dub

Nah, only the Blu-ray was delayed, the DVD is already out. Well in that case, I have three questions: 1) Does the show itself have the Yamamoto score, or was it just a weird choice of preview music that they included in the trailer only? 2) Have the songs been dubbed? 3) Just overall...how is the d...

Re: The German DBZ Kai dub

It was the Yamamoto score. They used tracks of the third soundtrack and the 18th Magic insert song. Wow, you're right. "My 18th Magic " is also used in the replacement score, but it sure is weird they were allowed to use track 7 (新たな敵の出現) and 25 (勝者のダンス). ( amazon.co.jp provides previews for all 3 ...

Re: The German DBZ Kai dub trailer is here...

Jürgen Seebeck , the guy who did the German translation for the Dragon Ball manga back in 1997 , is also doing the German translation for Kai . Kazé posted a short video message from him today (you can see some lines of the Japanese script for Kai 's episode 30 at the end of the video): https://www...

Re: Kazé Anime Licenses Dragon Ball Z Kai in Germany

How well is Kazé regarded in the German anime dubbing industry? And how does that reputation compare to, say, Universum Anime, who is handling the German dub of Battle of Gods ? I bought their Detective Conan and One Piece movie releases, and they were handled very well and retained most of the ser...
