Re: Reviving those who died in the Saiyan Genocide.
Depends on what type of succession they use. It seems most people are assuming Primogeniture or eldest male heir which is certainly the norm throughout history.
No, it isn't. It's fairly new concept that in Europe took roots after High Middle Ages and never caught on in other parts of the world ...

] That said, at least when it comes to Dragon Ball, it feels like he has a certain detached sense of morality.
Correct me if I'm wrong but do you think Toriyama as a person has a detached sense of morality because he wrote work with darker undertones without dwelling much on that? Do you think ...

Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
You know I've always wondered were there any black skinned Saiyans on Planet Vegeta before Freeza blew it up?
I bet that Toriyama and oryginal japanese producers never wondered about that, they just saw characters as generic "people". When you live in racially homogenous Country and only POC (from ...

They made Les Miserables anime. For Kids. It's long and boring but everybody lives.

Re: Why Does everyone Take Dragon Ball So Seriously?
Before the Internet you had to tell it face to face and it was harder than writing to avatar. I'm active Star Wars fan and I've met the worst forms of shaming, insulting and gatekeeping when I frequented online fora so I wasn't surprised with latest scandals. Meanwhile those who I met in person are ...

Look at the mirror and say it out loud- "I like cartoon targeted for children".
But yes, I'd watch everything made by Dave "ATLA and best of TCW" Filoni.

My guess is that they aren't considered a part of universe, just expats on contracts. Other gods are born and breed in mortal realms.

Re: If given the chance would Goku divorce Chi Chi?
Well, the series shows exactly the opposite but you already told that you don't care about facts.
Even if so Goku doesn't need a chance- he can leave every moment, but for some reason he decided to stay. Not all marriages are about passionate love and they often turn to be OK.

Brolly's rabid fans become some kind of Yeti of DB community, especially on this forum. While someone mentions from time to time that he is cool, there used to be a lots of threads bashing unseen "fanboys".

Re: Is there a "Kanzenshuu" about Saint Seiya?
Saint Seiya sticked where it had a luck of being aired on nationwide TV stations during popular children's blocks- even then it seemed a but weird but I have an impression that due to frequent airing of older cartoons European kids are more forgiving when it comes to animation. In USA it didn't have ...

The reason for adult females voicing prepubescent boys is called puberty- when you have young teen you don't know the day his voice mutates. It also hepls that it's easier to employ adult than minor.

One thing that stuck me when I rewatched ending- as a kid I was really angry that Pan barely recognizes Bulma's descendants. They were so close, how it come? Now I see that the link that chained whole families broke, everyone went own with their lives. They probably called randomly during special ...
