Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition *On Going* - Review

Did you guys know, if ASA already re-released the 2nd volume with the size problem fixed? Anyone saw it? I haven`t seen it yet, but its a more complex problem that it appears. You see, even if the second edition of the second volume is already available (and I think it already is) most stores have ...

Re: Dragonball Raging Blast 2 Japanese Trophies!!

He is right. I have the European version (I'm Portuguese) and all the trophies are written in Japanese - their names and descriptions.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" (PS3/360) Help Thread

Yep, Near Death Seals (I, II, III), Regeneration Seals (I read they're up to V, but I only have seen it up to II in the game - yet, I'm still at Nappa so...), etcetera, are used to negate the effects of starting at 1 HP, opponents regeneration, etcetera and can't be used only in these time missions ...

Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition *On Going* - Review

Very important warning I`ve just found out that the reason why the second Volume is shorter than the first is simply because there was a problem with its cover and it ended up being shorter. Because of this, ASA will re-release the second Volume with this problem fixed. So, before you buy the secon...

If I go to the shopping next Sunday, I'll see if there is already a re-release. ;)

I doubt it will out so soon. It will probably only start to come out at the very end of the month.
Yeah, it's not out yet. :?

Re: For the older fans...

I'm not 21 yet (I'm just 16), but I have no problem with it.
Most of my friends love manga and anime, only one or two makes fun of it a little (only the immature ones do that :P).

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?

My most recent purchase was this morning: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh105/ShinDNA/Dragon%20Ball/Other%20Stuff/fotografia.jpg The new and revised Portuguese edition of the manga started today. This time they're doing it right! My latest purchase. Hopefully next one will be Volume 2 next wee...

Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition, Volume 1 - Review

Hmm. Interesting. Maybe they do have something to do with it. But I`m not sure if that is a positive sign. The Planeta Agostini volumes weren`t exactly that great, quite the opposite. I hope they are just using them for those minor stuff. Otherwise, it might be a problem in the future. I hope that ...

Yep. During that time we still used "escudos"...
It was 295 escudos the first and 595 escudos each the rest.

Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition, Volume 1 - Review

I'm not saying they're using the books as a translation source. If they're using it, it's for checking the translation. I just said mostly because of the SFX. Look at page 7, when Goku is preparing to throw the wood at the air. The SFX in that scene in the new release is "AARG", in DeAgost...

Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition, Volume 1 - Review

Welcome. Lets see... There is a simple test that we can do. If the first Taukonbon from Planeta Agostini calls the old lady "Avó Paozu" (which means "grandma Paozu") then I guess its possible, even though I think its very unlikely that they are translating from more than one sou...

Re: Portuguese Dragon Ball Tankoubon Edition, Volume 1 - Review

Bah. I caught a "Bolas de Cristal" in page 138. These guys need to proofread their shit and not translate using dub terms :( They also write Gokû's name in full as "Son Goku" a lot, even when the original only said "Gokû". This is getting way too close to the dub for m...
