Re: Dragon Boxes coming in, will keep up to date...
I have "Not yet shipped" and the estimated shipping/arrival dates are inaccurate now. Shipping Estimate Friday May 31 2013 - Friday Jun 14 2013 Delivery estimate Tuesday July 16 2013 - Wednesday Aug 14 2013 It's already 21 June 2013 so that defeats the Shipping Estimate of 14 June and Del...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
Even if Funimation COULD use it, Toei WOULD care because they wouldn't want America to have a product that is in any way superior to the Japanese product. Our box sets may be cheaper, but the video quality sucks. Even the old singles are inferior to the single DVDs in Japan because they have Dragon...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
kei17 , AnimeMakkuo , this may be a good opportunity to contact FUNimation to see if they want to use those original Japanese broadcast tapes for the Blu-Ray's Japanese audio. I have a feeling that Funi would get in a lot of trouble with Toei if they used the audio on those tapes. Technically those...

Re: Is it certain Picccolo did not take a 2nd RoSaT trip?
He went back in during the Boo Saga and the entrance was still there, so I doubt it. Then again, they were breaking all the other rules for the Room during that fight, so I could be wrong.

Re: What if.... no more Tarble
The reason that Vegeta wants to be so strong is because he doesn't want to be disregarded like Tarble. Without that driving force, he becomes lazy and gets banished like Tarble was. Krillin kills Nappa with his Kienzan since Vegeta doesn't tell him to dodge it. The Androids eventually come and kill...

Mine hasn't been cancelled, either. I wonder why they're cancelling some orders and not others?

Re: Kai Moments vs. Z Moments
For the most part I prefer Kai's dub, but there are two scenes off the top of my head that I prefer in the Z dub. The first was the infamous Vegeta's Wrath scene; the Ocean version, in my opinion, had better dialogue and AMAZING acting. Drummond really nailed it there. I enjoyed Sabat in the Kai ver...

Re: Episode #0336 (16 June 2013)
You guys forgot one Dragon Ball dad - Cell! What, he fathered seven Cell Juniors, didn't he? And then there's Kami! He fathered Piccolo Daimao. And then you have Dr. Frappe, Ha-chan's second daddy after Dr. Gero. And how about Freeza, father of Kuriza? And you also have Bora, Oopa's dad, and I thin...

Re: Are there any DB composers who haven't plagiarised other
I don't understand why you count Kikuchi here. The James Bond theme thing obviously is one of the parodies frequently seen in early, comical episodes. There also are Jaws-like piece and very Ifukube-esque piece that were meant to be funny. General Blue's leitmotif is just one of such things. It's j...

Re: What if.... no more Mr. Popo?
Even if Popo's removal somehow still led to the Saiyan Arc happening the same, No trip to Yunzabit means no super fast ship for Bulma, Gohan, and Kuririn, so either Vegeta or Freeza gets the Namekian Dragon Balls before Dr. Brief even finishes the Saiyan-pod based ship, meaning we have an immortal ...

Re: Happy Father's Day! Japanese Fans Vote Goku as Coolest D
Come on, Goku isn't THAT bad as a father. He's only away when he absolutely has to be and he at least waited until his sons were grown up to run off with Oob. Yes, he's made mistakes, but what parent doesn't?

Re: Weird/funny things you used to believe about Dragon Ball
I know I've posted some of the weird noobie things I used to think on here before, but I can't remember what I put down. I recently remembered, however that I used to think that the Genki Dama could only be used once per lifetime for some reason.

Try recording them onto DVDs with a DVD Player that has that feature and then rip the DVDs. Or are you concerned about damaging the tapes?

I am deeply saddened by this news... The ironic thing in my case is that I just recently finished rewatching the Red Ribbon Army Arc. We'll miss you, Utsumi-san.
