That was a rather entertaining animation. Especially parts like the scene where ss3 Goku is supposed to be grabbing Supes by the foot, yet, if you look closely, you can see Goku is grabbing thin air and Supes appears to be spinning voluntarily on his own. :lol:

A better question would be, why didn't Popo just have his magic carpet prepped to warp Goku straight to the battlefield? Probably for the same reason: it wouldn't have worked out for the plot.
