Re: Beerus pre God of destruction power?

The fact that Beerus's brother is the GoD of another universe supports the idea that they were born for this and were never average mortals in the first place. One theory that I heard is that Beerus and Champa were both originally from Universe 6. In the manga, Beerus said that Vegeta could be a Ha...

Re: If Shin just learn simple Namek technique the story would have been very different.

If Shin learn Dende heal and Guru unlock potential the story would have been vastly different especially in future Trunks timeline, since he is a supreme Kai he should be able to learn them. Kaioshin can't heal only their attendants can. They literally lose the ability once they become kaioshin. Na...

Also, there may be a difference between someone dying with their bodies intact vs having their bodies completely destroyed.
This might be the case, since when they brought Freeza back he was still diced into pieces and they needed to use that regeneration machine to heal him.

Re: 28 planets?

Technically there should be planet of robot looking beings like Magetta's race in Universe 7 too. In the U6 tournament I think someone asked Shin or Kibito if there was a race like his species in Universe 7 and they said something like, "I think I might have heard something like that." So where is ...

Re: effect of old kai unlock potential on other races?

Most certainly. It seems to coalesce all of a fighter's strength and potential into a single usable outlet in their original state. What I would ask is how it interprets a transformation like Puar or Oolong's. Those don't increase strength but merely change the appearance and functionalism of the u...

strawpolls can be easily hacked or people can vote under multiple ip's (like if you vote on your home computer and then again on your cell phone, it'll count both for example)
Who would care enough to do that though?

Re: effect of old kai unlock potential on other races?

It didn't give Gohan any new SSJ forms, but a very powerful base form.

So maybe it would give Freeza the power of Golden form in his 4th form? Or something.

I will say though, that a young girl and her grandfather going on adventures and fighting evil is an interesting setup for a story that I don't believe I've seen done anywhere else.

Re: Beerus pre God of destruction power?

I would assume weaker than the Kaioshins as both Shin and Kibito were astounded by the Saiyans exceeding their expectations time and time again to the point where they grudgingly admitted to having been surpassed. If a precedent for this phenomenon existed prior then you would think Shin wouldn't b...

Re: Defense: Are they always that tough?

Well of course there's the whole thing about being vulnerable when you let your guard down, but in the middle of a fight I would assume it would always be up. But your durability can also be compromised if you are injured or exhausted, as it's all based on ki. So after a tough and exhausting fight,...

He was weaker than Buu, at least before he met Whis according to Old Kai.
He said he wasn't 'as bad' as Buu. That could mean not as evil.

Most of those species are probably in the same boat as the Saiyans, with their planets destroyed by Freeza or Beerus.

I always like the idea that nobody ever found out (except the ones that did like Nam). Vegeta hears that Goku never defeated this Jackie Chun fellow and vows to hunt him down for a worthy challenge.
Then Roshi dresses up as Jackie Chun again and beats Vegeta with the Mafuba

Re: Paradoxical wishes

They'd probably just call the wisher an idiot and not do it. Shenron and Porunga especially have no problem telling people if a wish is beyond their capabilities. They can also both reason with the wisher to convince them not to waste a wish if it goes against their best interests. Super and Ultima...

Paradoxical wishes

I've always wondered about this. Whether we're talking about Shenron, Porunga, Super Shenron, Black Star Shenron, or what have you, what would happen if you made a wish that was paradoxical/logically impossible?

For example: 'I wish for you to not grant this wish'.
