When watching in Japanese on CR:

Episodes 1-74 (and any others not mentioned below) are Dragon Box.

Episodes 75, 80, 82, 92, 99, 105-106, 142, 157, 159, 161, 168-169, 172, & 178 are 16:9 Orange Bricks DVD squished to 4:3

Episodes 254-291 are 4:3 Dragon Box stretched to 16:9

This same problem ...

Ah, gotcha. It does sort of look like that, doesn't it? (For the record, I do know the difference between the two. Instantaneous movement requires a Ki source to lock onto, Kai Kai can go anywhere without such limitations. And if I had ...

While instantaneous movement, or Kai Kai would make getting somewhere nice and quick, I personally would like the ability to fly. Still faster than using a car, but you get to have fun doing it as well. You could perform aerial tricks in front of spectators. You'd just have to watch out for planes ...
