Re: About the change from Bills to Beerus in some dubs

AFAIK, the name Bills changed to Beerus in the Spanish dub at some point of the Super series because an international requirement from Toei Animation existed. That is why I wanted to know if that happened in other languages too

About the change from Bills to Beerus in some dubs

I heard than in some dubbed versions of Dragon Ball Super, the character Lord Beerus was called Lord Bills at some point. This is the case of the first Super movies in Spanish and Catalan (don't know about the american spanish versions) and in the Dragon Ball Super series in Spanish they changed the...

Re: The FULL version of the infamous DBZ French opening

Yes, because the firts 26 episodes of Dragon Ball were dubbed in Barcelona (Catalonia) either in Catalan and Spanish.

So the ending song is also the same singer for both languages.

No, it was never released. Both instrumentals come from a backup of the original material for the songs and insert songs :)

Here you have it.

I also uploaded in the same channel the instrumental version for the catalan "Cha La, Head Cha La", which didn't use the original japanese music track.

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country

The Catalan Dub was aired first on TV3, then C33, then K3 and 3XL. C33, K3 and 3XL were in fact the same channel which went through several name changes. The Spanish dub was first aired on Canal Sur (Andalusia), later on TeleMadrid (Madrid) and finally for all Spain on the national channel Antena 3....

Re: The History of Dragon Ball in Every Country

Well, what I really meant is that either in Mexico or Spain we speak Spanish, not Mexican... but the Mexican variant is obviously spoken in Mexico, not Spain

Re: The FULL version of the infamous DBZ French opening

Here in spain we have seen that shitty opening from episodes 1 to 104 (at least in Catalna, they also got that in spanish but maybe in lesser episodes). IIRC, the catalana version was sung by a man and the spanish by a woman. I have a tvsize and a long version of the song in catalan and also an inst...

Re: Voiceless Audio Track on Chinese VCDs

Hey, hugo, that is really nice! That wierd thing on the Galician dub is something I already saw sometimes, but in this case not only with the eyecatch, but also the sync beeps (a couple of them). Probably they got the M&E from the japanese version, as the catalan dub, which also had At this poin...

Re: Cha-La Head-Cha-La first version versions

If the last anwser was in 2017, would it be necroposting?? By te way, key17, I am very interested in seeing those comparison videos and pictures again, it seems youtube removed the videos and the images were not available anymore, that is the reason why I could't find them. It would be possible to s...

I am waiting for another user to share it with me, just waiting him for uploading it, but he told me that he was not sure this material didn't came from VCD ¿? I guess it should be the same material. How did this happen? Was that a mistake from the people who mixed those vcd? Btw, are you interested...

Cha-La Head-Cha-La first version versions

Long ago I remember seeing a website (black border, lots of text and pictures) that has a very deep comparison of all the versions of the first version of Cha-La Head-Cha-La. When I say "versions of the first version" I mean the one without nappa or vegeta, which seemed to have minor chang...
