Re: If YOU Could Change GT.
I like GT enough for what it is (the show has both "Dan Dan..." and "Hitori Janai", two of my favorite songs from the whole franchise), so there's nothing really major I would change about GT. What I would change is how it was aired in the U.S. No more "Welcome To The Grand Tour", no more "Lost ...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
People need to understand that "buy it now" prices aren't indicative of what things are going for. If they aren't selling, then they have no correlation to what they actually sell for. Nobody's buying Dragon Box 2 for $600.
You are right about Buy It Now prices (I know all about this when I was ...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
I bought them all in one eBay auction for $630 shipped, so unfortunately I don't have an individual price for you.
The cheapest new Dragon Box 2 on Amazon costs $615, so I guess you can consider yourself lucky now. By the way, were the ones you bought used or new?
Wow! Is it really going for ...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
You shouldn't regret it. The Dragon Ball "Season Sets" are an excellent product for the money. It's the least-altered/tainted of all the FUNimation releases.
I don't regret my purchase at all. Like I said before, it's just that the timing of my purchase of the Dragon Box sets timing up with this ...

It cost me a bit, but not really that bad considering some people are trying to sell box 2 alone for about as much as I got the set for. I got them all in one eBay listing. The seller had them listed ...

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
Took the survey, answered 4:3 of course, said Dragon Ball is my favorite series, which it is. It's just kind of funny, because I just purchased the Dragon Box sets days before this was announced. I don't regret my purchase, as this proposed release may not even be 4:3, and even if it is, who's to ...

Re: Watching Dragon Ball For The First Time In Japanese
I don't know if those are legit or not.
Anyways, buying bootlegs is not the moral thing to do.
I know, and I'm hoping this isn't. I just wish there were more reasonably priced options than the Orange Bricks for U.S. releases.
I think this item from that website is definitely a bootleg:
It ...

Re: Watching Dragon Ball For The First Time In Japanese
.
Also, I haven't watched any of the series in Japanese, but I'm planning on doing that very soon, going in order, probably after I get my Malaysian DBZ series set in the mail (I had the Orange Bricks, but sold them off, because I wanted Z in 4:3 and unfortunately the Dragon Boxes are too ...

Re: Watching Dragon Ball For The First Time In Japanese
I like the Japanese music a lot more than the American dub music. I think an actual ensemble with real instruments is better than a synthesized computer program (the American dub music is mostly synthesized, right?). Perhaps I'm biased because I play saxophone in a wind ensemble. Also, I much ...
