Re: Is it time to accept Faulconer OST did it better than the original?
In that case they at least didn’t have to throwback to even the low-tier studio recording quality that makes it all sound ridiculous (as far as the use in the show goes). They didn't. Japanese Dragon Ball now sounds the way it does because the audio masters were thrown out by Toei after each episod...

Re: Is it time to accept Faulconer OST did it better than the original?
The title seems very flame baity to me. Nothing beats the original Japanese score if you ask me. The majority of Kokonoe's threads since returning from their temporary ban have been transparently bait-based, and if they think we don't see that, then... Hmm. People respond in good faith so we let th...

Re: What happened to the 'Animation Styles' page & can we bring it back?
I believe they're gone because a lot of them were really wrong and due for an update. To the best of my knowledge, it's still a WIP, so it'll probably return with accurate representations in the future. Heath asked me to help out with the guide and I've been spectacularly fucking useless (see: lazy)...

Not sure if you saw and want to do your own one anyway, but myself and a few others produced our own Kikuchi cut a little while ago - viewtopic.php?t=36698

A few technical pointers: - You're much better off using CRF encoding than specifying a single constant bitrate. The former is much more efficient, and will prevent bloated file sizes. For example, this encode uses 10,000 kb/s, but with the aforementioned technique, you'll end up with averages of le...

Re: Hosting a Q&A panel with Vic Mignogna
Pretty much hit the nail on the head. Enjoyed him immensely in Naruto Shippuuden when I watched through the other month, and have enjoyed his work in the past. Fine and dandy, and not a reflection on my thoughts on them as a person or their actions. Hosting said person following everything's that ha...

None of this means anything. Honestly, it's time to stop and just accept the inevitable (and, frankly, obvious) truth. Crazy conspiracy theories about staff are not going to bring Super back.

Oh yes, i'm pretty sure DBS isn't returning soon, i'm just intrigued by that 9 AM slot. We know it's not DQ since it's coming in October and World Trigger is on a different channel. You have any info on that ? Absolutely nothing, I'm afraid. The thing is, Kitaro's one of those shows that can be ext...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The part where it should be different is the director. The 2 directors of the saga of the tournament of power are busy. Ryota Nakamura will be the director of Dragon Quest That's wrong and we still don't know where he's been since the end of super. Kazuya karasawa is the director of Dragon Quest Co...

My guess based on nothing:
New non-DB IP in April replacing Kitaro. DB movie announced for 2020. Fandom explodes, Kanzenshuu forums implode, DBtubers die of starvation.

The DNR artifacts are identical between the Season Sets and 30th BDs, so I think it's more like this for those parts:

The cover and art on the disc books are Yamamuro. In the booklet, it's a mix of all kinds of promo artists, and also some Yam.

See I was told that the video quality in comparison to the Japanese dragon box was negligible at best. You’re saying otherwise?

Off-screen photos and videos are entirely useless for an endless list of reasons, ranging from incorrect exposure, bad white balance, poor TV calibration, iffy focus, or all of the above.

Absolute rubbish.
Fans could do and have done better just using the JP DBOX.
