Better yet which one of us is Goku posing as Captain America?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Concerning those who claim that toyotaro trace to make the vjump cover This is not traced , just take it as a reference . Only the right fingers seems traced in th original sketch and that was not in the final draw . I don’t like it , but nobody knows what’s behind , rush is behind for sure . It’s ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Ok , so I guess heles is talking about Ribriannes planet like the beauty people planet with lots of not that beauty planets instead of just one planet being not beauty . At some point I thought that Beerus was calling heles planet ugly It’s hard to interpretate, I guess translation doesn’t help Act...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

While we are on the topic of plagiarism, I have to save that I am very disappointed in Toyotaro. I never minded when he would use compostion and panels from the original DB manga because: 1. They are from the same franchise, and were approved by Toriyama himself since he overlooks the vast majority ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

How you guys interpreted heles saying to Beerus “ that planet is an exception “ talking about not all her universe is beauty ? I took it as her saying only Ribrianne's planet has beings more beautiful than her Ok , so I guess heles is talking about Ribriannes planet like the beauty people planet wi...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

He had many habits and quirks seen in many fanfiction authors (yes, I include myself in this too), especially the need to explain everything to the point that characters stopped being characters and become Mr. Explain. Which wouldn't be so bad if Toyo was good at it. I mean, if you're going to stud...

Re: Do you think a guidebook would...

20 tons to adjust for the fact that Vegeta was a super saiyan and goku wasnt. SSJ is a 50x multiplier so it would be the equivalent of not being able to lift 20 tons in base.(And goku lifted 40 tons in base) Which at this point for Base Vegeta unable to lift 20 tons is absolutely absurd. But Goku d...

Re: Do you think a guidebook would...

He was struggling to carry it but he still could. Once he became a super saiyan it became light as a feather. The manga doesnt have any "infusion of god power scene" but vegeta should still be several fold stronger than pre Buu arc Goku and they showed vegeta to be weaker. 1000/50 = 20 to...

Re: Do you think a guidebook would...

Yet another example of the manga being trash. Goku could lift 40 tons in base during 7 years before the Buu arc. That implies Goku pre buu arc>Vegeta U6 tournament The anime sheds no light on how heavy they are or how much Goku/Vegeta can lift Goku was a super saiyan when he lifted 40 tons and as D...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Pretty boring chapter. Despite all the complaints that the anime version didn't feel like a battle royale, the manga version feels even less like one somehow. A bit confused as to people's reactions that Hit was handled way better here than in the anime. The time lag thing was cool but ultimately p...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Maybe I’m missing something but where in the manga does it say SSG is more efficient than SSJ1,2,or 3? It never says that. I think you may have misunderstood my comment, ( if that's what you are referring to.) But I meant that instead of trying to save energy while there is a powerful foe near you,...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

The writing consistency problem comes of how Toyotarõ made SSG a "balanced form which doesn't spend much energy" quoting Goku here. Just one little minor thing here because I don't know how much of a difference it makes here. When Goku made this statement, he said in comparison to blue, t...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I understand, but I think you can easily have both if you just properly utilize the characters at your disposal. You have 80 characters in this tournament, it's perfectly possible to create match-ups where "one-shotting" isn't a possibility. Instead of having Gohan handle Bergamo & co...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

. Yes, and that's good. But if they recognize they should just go full power to handle their opponents instead of fooling around in weaker forms and be susceptible to tire themselves out or, worse, being knocked out, then that just makes the scenes where they are fighting in their weaker forms all ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I will explain it again. Dragon Ball has always functioned in one way: massively stronger characters can knock out massively weaker characters in a flash, without exerting too much or any energy at all. The excuse that they're conserving their stamina doesn't work for this reason alone. Now, does t...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

It was a fine chapter although weaker the last two (which is unfortunate for Hit). The art did look a bit off for some part of it, but I'm fine with that. He did have to take a couple of days off to do something else, so I imagine he had to rush a bit. Plus I don't always expect to look perfect, con...
