In English speaking countries Anime means Japanese Cartoon, like Manga means Japanese comics, and how both words are just the Japanese for cartoons and comics, thats all.

What about in the Old English dub when Piccolo's arm is taken off by Raditz "HAHAHA 'Excuse me, has anyone seen my arm, it's big and green, you can't miss it!' BWAHAHA!"

Man that was a long time ago and I pissed myself laughing at it. Is that in the Season 1 box? :D

Please don't use "jap" as a shorthand for "Japanese". "jap" is a racist term, which presumably wasn't the effect you were going for. And, yeah, there is no single consistent American release of Dragon Ball Z. If you stick to American releases and want both English and ...

Nooo, that's Vince Noir from a britcom called The Mighty Boosh!

It used to be good, now it's popular and they're recycling jokes from the first 2 series. The only thing good about this series is that they call is Series 4 instead of 3.

Or just wait for the 2 "remastered" Seasons. Thanks. So all 5 of those are the entire GT? 40+ bucks for the box sets seems expensive. $40 for five volumes of three-to-four episodes each is expensive? That's a steal in this industry. Yeah seriously, most season sets of American TV shows can...

I love Hong-Kong and Malaysian boxsets, I have the Gundam Seed ones, they're AWESOME. At one point the subtitles say "What fuck?!" when it does that "What the hell" thing in Japanese that I can't spell.

So many questions arise regarding the new GT sets... You'd think they'd tackle the original DB first... I think they're waiting to get the home video rights to the first 13 episodes before heading down that road. Those rights might be down the toilet for the other company soon, they should just be ...

I agree completely, case and point, I've always been a huge G1 Transformers fan, now with the new movie, everyone claims to have watched the original show, I went to a party last night and had to put up with some douche in an Optimus Prime T-shirt trying to tell me about the Transformers. On another note, who thinks Uwe Boll's “Postal” will be worth seeing? 'The man despised by keyboard tappers the world over delivers what is probably the funniest movie I've seen in five years. Just after Frieza was cut in half, I swear one scene showed a shot from the ground where you could see down Frieza's body, and his shows him with both arms, along with his amputated arm, it may be a leg I see connected to his body, but it looks so much like its connected to his arm.
