Re: Related to was Gohan ssj2 vs Dabura?

The DBS stuff aside, I've always believed that Gohan must have been using SS2 against Dabura for a few main reasons: -It was heavily implied that Dabura ~ Perfect Cell. -It was reiterated a few different times that Gohan(Cell Games) > Gohan(Boo-era). And during the Cell Games, Perfect Cell > SS1 Goh...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

When I play fight with a toddler or kitten, do I leave lasting effects on them? When you play fight with a toddler or kitten, is this the non-holding-back look/force you give when you're about to finish them off? https://i.ibb.co/XYdJg1Q/main-qimg-609d0623c22eddf05565ad95d915789e-pjlq.jpg ...And do...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

But if the difference between SSB Gogeta and FPSS Broly was as vast as you're implying, then even Gogeta's "toying around attacks" still would've had significant lasting effects on Broly(as we've seen in numerous battles, across both DBZ and DBS), yet they didn't . Broly soaked nearly ever...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

A) All that really says is that those attacks were not strong enough to damage him. Was there anything to indicate that Gogeta was going all out? B) Did Gogeta feel the need or the storytellers feel the need to show off Gogeta Blue? C) Not sure if we could tell that just from what we've seen in the...

Particular reason(s) you hold SS4 Goku/Gogeta in such high esteem? I don't necessarily disagree, I'm just curious why.

Champa The Destroyer wrote: Sat Oct 29, 2022 5:07 pm Super Garlic Jr (Movie 1) vs Raditz
Raditz seemed to be a good bit stronger. Goku+Piccolo(unweighted) promptly overwhelmed Garlic Jr... The same cannot be said about Raditz.

The only "?" is if Garlic's immortality haxx would let him soak a beating long enough for Raditz to burn out.

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

I mean, typically a difference of around 2x(or in some cases much less) is enough for a character to casually dismantle their opponent in like two or three strikes. We have seen this happen numerous times throughout the series. So the fact(s) that: a.) Broly soaked all of Gogeta's attacks without su...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

If you give SSB Gogeta the benefit of the doubt, then I suppose he might be around the level of MUI Goku(Moro arc) and Angel-Moro, at best... But there's really no reason I can think of to place him any higher than that. Tbh, if you look at MUI Goku's fight with Moro-73(who was > Broly) and SSB Goge...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

After watching the fight again, at no point was Broly ever going toe-to-toe with Gogeta Blue. He may have been able to trade some blows with SSJ Gogeta but once Gogeta went blue, Broly was completely outclassed even as he continued to rage. From the frequent looks of satisfaction on Gogeta's face t...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

I mean, Jesus. Broly was going toe-to-toe with Gogeta Blue while in his Super Saiyan state. Now Goku and Vegeta are each stronger than Broly? Are we expected to believe they're both stronger than Gogeta Blue was back then? As nonsensical as it seems, that does seem to be the intent. Per Goku himsel...

Re: Frieza now stronger than Beerus?

To add to this, it ought to be even a little bit hard for Beerus to completely conceal his power when he's getting intense during training. It was established awhile back that power on par with Boo arc SSJ3 Goku could be sensed from like halfway across the entire universe. If Beerus is actually get...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Why would power that has been suppressed be a factor? I don't see how that makes sense. This is the only way to make Potara more effective than Metamoran Fusion and keeping Gogeta and Vegetto as equal trump cards. How do you explain how Potara is more effective then? Potara being more "effecti...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

This is the only way to make Vegetto > Gogeta and have Potara and Metamoran Fusion as equal trump cards. When fighters are of equal value, they are equal trump cards. Potara allows use of the stronger fighters power whereas Metamoran does not. It seems logically that the power Trunks has to suppres...

Re: What Past Consequence Could The Team Wish Away With The Super DBs?

We can wonder what would have happened if he worded his wish in such a way as to address Zeno's Erase technique, but the fact that the story never brings this up as a possibility indicates the writers' stance on this. Or maybe the writers never thought about it. Either way we can only speculate on ...

Re: What Past Consequence Could The Team Wish Away With The Super DBs?

Zeno also erased Infinite Zamasu, who was granted immortality by the Super Dragon Balls, so it's not exactly clear which is greater between Zeno and the Super DBs. True. But then we saw the Dragon undo Zen-Oh's erasures on a trans-universal scale. Begs the question: what would've happened if Zamasu...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

5. Ikari Broly vs Android 17 Broly should have the overall power advantage, though #17 is arguably close enough to his level to put up a great fight -- especially with his superior fighting skills, haxx durability/shielding, and infinite stamina. Could potentially go either way, but I think Broly m...

Re: Could Present Vegeta Turn SSJ3?

Are you talking about the anime or manga continuity? Because the gap between the mortal SSJ forms and the divine forms, seems to have grown a lot smaller once they learn to access them on their own in the anime, but in the manga it seems to be on a completely different plane similar to in BoG. I su...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

But this is why the whole movie had stupid Toei wank scaling, if Gogeta needed Blue, he should have been pasted in Base and SS1. Given how much Blue dominated, I think God could do it, SS3, certainly not before the fusion ran out. Would like to see a hypothetical Toyo verison of Broly. After Broly ...

The fact that Gogeta went from SS1, all the way to SSB(bypassing SS2, SS3, and SSG), suggests that FPSS Broly was operating at a level that Gogeta didn't think any of his other forms could handle.
